@cainbeaumont1609 yes I believe you could mount it on a pole mate.

I got this unit a few weeks ago. For the price I think it is a great value. I didn’t want to mount it on the trolling motor, and made a pvc pole to hold it. I got the idea from another channel, but basically I cut a 1-1/4” pvc pipe about 8”, then used a heat gun to heat the two sides and then flattened them to form a “bracket”. Works very well. Apologies for the US unit of measure.

@@charleswest1 thanks mate, I live in Moama and my fishing is mainly cod yellas and when I go to the lakes reddies in the mix I don’t want to spend a handy $5000 so I was looking at the eagle eye and thought this would be fine, for the structure and weed banks etc I’ll be running it to a 120 ah lithium I have so should be enough power for a day or two and also have a pole which was given to me. Can’t wait for the water trail when you put it up to see your thoughts and to see if it’s worth the buy thanks again for the reply. 🎣

@JohnHarikopoulos Thanks for reply mate. If you want to power up your unit at home away from the boat, you just need another power cable for your unit and connect it to a 12v battery. I have a small 9amp 12v battety which I use from time to time.

Download the map via desktop or laptop. Make sure check the content I'd number is correct with your unit's number

@@charleswest1 so, I download the map to the sd card 32 gb,i put the map on the sonar and at the same time record the depth and save it on the card to the next upload to the social map. ?

@endurolabioannina3219 you download the map from lowrance to your desktop or laptop, then copy it to the micro sd card. Place the card into the unit. Then select your map page, hit menu then select cmap social map and it should be there, you may have to zoom out and move around to find the lake. It won't just be there unless you are at the lake.

Thank you for your comment. This why I said all boats are different. The location works perfectly on my hull.

The hull doesn’t have anything to do with it… it’s the fact that you have an outboard engine, and you mounted the transducer in front of it. The transducer gives off air pockets/cavitations which can have a negative effect and even damage your propeller. But if it works.
