Lions Mane Jellyfish have started moving into the Port in preparation for the migration of Moon Jellyfish that come in this time of year. Lions Mane are a predator jellyfish that will feed upon the moon jellies similar to the migration of animals on the African plane. What’s curious about this particular jellyfish is that some of them carry a small fish that makes a home in and around the bell ...

Swimming with Salmon Sharks in Alaska!
they look like domesticated great white
I'm sorry but its adorable
Sleeper sharks are poor hunters that mostly feed by scavenging because of their slow movements
What a rare footage of a live sleeper shark 😂!!!
This is a Pacific sleeper shark ( Somniosus pacificus )
Gawr Gura
good of you to help the shark but were you worried about getting bitten? sleeper sharks prey on large species of squid and fish and have really powerful jaws
Being 7 meters long, a Sleeper shark would be more a prey than a predator to a healthy Giant squid that can be more than 16 meters long, so it is possible that it feed almost exclusively on their corpses and that it attack only dying or gravely sick individuals
there is a strong current there, I don't know if the shark swam backwards.
:/ how dirty is that water?? you can't see the tail of the shark from the front!
Nice shark tail slap at the end 😂
Next to killer whales, lamnidae sharks are the ocean's greatest hunters. They're built for speed and power.
Aww
Covered in parasites
I hope he didn’t get the hook stuck in his mouth. 🙏
They’re so cute 🥰 little toy great whites
Not so cute when your a salmon💀
Their pectoral fins look more mobile than those of great whites, tigers, bulls, hammerheads and so on
Beautiful creature

So beautiful it almost doesn’t even look real out there, amazing!
Just subscribed 👍🔥
first shark ever to break the physcids😳

@@jimmythedrum446 Apparently Sleeper sharks are another only predator of fully-grown giant squids, along with the Sperm whale, but a 7 meters long and slow-moving Sleeper shark would be more a prey than a predator to a healthy adult Giant squid that is fast and can be 16 meters long, so it is possible that it feed almost exclusively on their corpses and that it attack only dying or gravely sick individuals that are more vulnerable and so much easier to catch
Mysterious like a giant squid
Oh my God it's real life alaska jaws!🦈
Wow. You’d think the smaller Porpoises would easily outmaneuver the larger Orcas. Makes me think that the porpoises were very young.
They are a beautiful shark.🥰👍🫶
Why not put the music on louder so we can't make out what you're saying ?
Very cool!
To all those who glory in the kill, may you one day be hunted. And slaughtered. And your entrails left as offal.
I wish we could pet wild orcas somehow: (
Hit me with your pet shark! Hit me with your pet shark! Hit me with your pet shark! Fire a whaaaaaale!!
nature isn't nurture!
most of the time they don't even eat what they kill, I'm staring not to like them as much
Shark: Are you two done playing with that food?
Humans: Aaaw nature is so beautiful! Nature: Hold my blood thirst
Not sure I’d call scrambling for your life “playful “.
I thought for sure the Orcas would have gone after the shark too!
Water wolves
Lunchtime!! 🤣
What kind of shark ?
Salmon Shark
@@alaskasharks6546 thank you, the Orca decided it wasn't worth killing.
Orcas killed dall propoise because they mimic orcas and they don’t like it
Freakin awesome to see? Are you kidding me?
That's pretty sad for me to see. Dall porpoises are so fun and playful. They often escort us on our sailing trimaran and are so fast. We sail at 12 to 15 knots on a reach in good wind and the porpoises just play on our bow waves, rolling to their sides to look at us. They escort us through the start of Peril Straits almost every time so I think they hang close by. I realize the Orca need to live too, but transients can be so brutal.
They killed it for fun. I say fuc orcas
Well so much for the Orca looking Porpoises trying to blend in as baby Orca
Shark didn’t want the smoke 💨
It’s not fun ! It’s called learning and fine tuning your skill’s to get your dinner!
Come on dude to see what orca yes but we don’t know what they were doing
Who are we humans, to deside what orcas can or cannot eat....??? If orcas eat dolphines, we goes crazy.....but when orcas eat sharks, were happy.......shut the f*ck up and let the orcas what they want !!! If I came up to you and screamed at you, for eating a steak and afterwards kissed your wife, for eating a porkchop......then you would be furious !!!!
I’ve seen video of orcas killing great white
Teaching the young to hunt.
Those first mamals you saw were not orcas, they were porpoises which became the orcas lunch
