Sabaneta is an excellent choice it's laid back and low key and really nice.

Absolutely.... I've said on this video it depends on where you want to live. There's many places in the city one can choose to live.

Well in Cali you want to look in the north... Granada, El Peñón, and Chipichape areas, in Bogota Chapinero close to Zona T, they're some good areas around the city center but I would look near Zona T. As far as apps to use you can use Uber, Didi, Cabify, and just look on Airbnb for accomodations

Cali is definitely a special place for sure.

Thanks for watching! I will say this was last year so there's some adjustments for inflation. But yes it's very affordable to live in Colombia especially Cali. Yeah I'm not a big nightlife guy, sure I like to go out and enjoy. But I don't really highlight this on my channel.

So I was in Granada at the beginning of the video, that's a great area to stay. If you have a chance check out my "How much does it cost in Cali" video. I give a lot of good info on areas. But both areas in this video are good places. Especially Granada

@@explorequipo money ain’t the problem so Granada is we’re u should stay if going there ? Example in Medellin I always stay about 2 blocks away from Provenza and parque llevas so I want almost the same good overall around

Well that's true as well. I was only giving examples, but I've too spent 10 to 20 bucks on meals in Cali too, and I do in other parts of Colombia as well. But I also said I eat a lot at home too so I don't always eat out.

Yes it was! I believe this was Industriales. I walked all the way to Laureles from where I was at the beginning of the video.

It's actually the stop where the huge BanColombia building is.

@@explorequipo LOL....you know what I just left Medellin on August 7 and on may out of the city, I saw all these people lining up for some kind of event and remember passing metro stop Exposiciones which is close to Industrialies. LOL How tall are you? I'm assuming you are holding the camera similar to the way I do and you seemed to much taller than everyone LOL where mines is more eye level.

Hahaha omg we almost could have met in person. I'm a little over 6ft so I'm definitely a little taller than most people here. But definitely not the tallest they have seen. Actually in Cali I felt more like a giant, I was almost always the tallest person around.

@@explorequipo LOL... Well I'm about 5'10 and some days I feel taller than alot of the people there. I saw your La setenta video and I think I was there the same night you were there. We probably could’ve ran into each other. LOL

Yeah Sabaneta has quickly become my favorite area. It's town within the city for sure. It's just as safe as Envigado too.

@@explorequipo the first time I visited Medellin in 2019, I went on a Escobar tour with a Colombian tour guide and he said that both of those cities you mentioned are basically owned by the Cartels, which is why you won’t hear about too much crime in those areas

Exactly!!!! The stick up boys know it's a no go here. They will get dealt with in a harsh manner. So even at night there I feel very safe. I was already a fan of Envigado but of course with everything happening in my life I like these areas a lot more. Hahaha my Laureles, and Poblado days are over it seems.

@@explorequipo I received a few comments like this for my El Centro videos, so I stopped adding music.

Yeah I go back and forth weather or not to add music or not. Sometimes I do to keep from getting copyright strikes because I walk past music playing. But I will mix it up in the next videos.

@@explorequipo Well....you know I love your of choice music. But I understand. Sometimes during editing, I feel like I'm missing something so I add music. Sometimes that's when I get comments from people wanting to hear the sounds of the local environment.

Yeah and there's others who like my choices of music too. But I'm going to experiment with a couple of videos and see what responses I get
