Reinventing jazz guitar. Thank god for that!! Sick of shreddy arrogance...most important jazz musician since Bill Evans. This guy is a true genius and has a soul. It shines through his music
Just when I thought all the jazz guitar greats were past tense with Jim Hall's passing! What a virtuoso! Of the many highlights in this recording, that walking bass he drops @ 4:45 is epic.
He is by all accounts a genuinely kind and humble human being who is very gracious and open with his knowledge to everyone he meets which just makes him even more annoying tbh
If I was on the admissions panel for a top guitar program and recognized a transcription of this I'd get up and leave for a smoke after 10 seconds, I'd admit a guy who used his dick as a pick over that

Incredible performance. Thanks for sharing
That's Autumn leaves?
This guy and Matteo Mancuso are probably the brightest "new" stars out there (both have been around a bit by now)
wow!!!!!!
I appreciate a lot. Thanks for share this. Astonishing as always.
Something about this guy makes me feel like it's 1955
And he is just having a ball! Amazing, and beautiful.
The guitar is literally gasping for air at points.
Fabulous!
The dynamics in this are absolutely insane 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I still think its his best guitar... maybe he has 10 of then in de closet....but he also makes a tele sound abs fab with a small tweed amp---!!!
Capolavoro.

Stanley Jordan is better
At this level no such thing as better, just different.
1:43 to 1:46..... WOW!!
1:29 wtf.
When did he play!? I had no idea he was at this school, my alma mater and obviously missed the memo (or timing)
10 000 hours
Dang. a full blown virtuoso.
Debile , un talent hors de l'ordinaire
As smiley than humble. Love this guy.
My ears explode, I almost tear up when I hear this version. effectively a little Joe Pass... a little Tuck Andress... a little Jim Hall.
forget J-Lo, it's all about that J-La
bravo
0:47 signature uh
I've heard him do that so many times lol
a little Joe Pass... a little Tuck Andress... a little Jim Hall... this is totally sublime
요새 퇴근하고 누워만있는데 ㅅĿ과ㅌłㅂl 알림 울리자마자 켜가지고 폭풍ㄸㄸㅇ친다 진짜 그만큼 수위 미쳤음 ;;
When you have such complete control of the instrument that you just have fun and let it flow. Amazing.
I can’t say anything about that performance except, Sublime!
Damn! How hot is the sound of that flat-direction Maj7 hangin over Gm at the end of the phrase at 1:42? Freakin badass
He's my god...
Classical, Jazz, Blues....Julian transcends styles. He is pure music.
Genious
Bravo!!!
Genuinely increadible take on this standard.
He is by all accounts a genuinely kind and humble human being who is very gracious and open with his knowledge to everyone he meets which just makes him even more annoying tbh
oh he's genuinely nice and warm, almost to a fault! as a random aside, no drinking, no smoking, no drugging either.
😂😂😂😂
wow
Oh Jane

Ooh look at me I know counterpoint and just listened to a bunch of sappy Americana inspired Bill Frisell records, shut the fuck up dude
Красавчик!!!
Here I go transcribing again
Theres a video of it on yt lol
Talent, and loads of it. Child of Music.
Timing madness
Nothing extra to get between him, his guitar and the music. Contagious ecstasy.
