Got a cool control deck for you guys this week. A fairly beginner friendly yet powerful deck that is also very budget. I totally suggest this for new players wanting to start with a solid rogue deck

Just a few basic starter combos for you guys, they're definitely flexible based on the extenders you have. The end boards look decievingly low power but as you play the deck gets exponentially more advantage and interruption pieces. Enjoy messing around with it for yourself!

Solid rogue deck that can make a board going first or break through boards going second. Definitely a deck I would suggest to anyone looking for a first competitive deck without spending insane amounts on a tier 1 deck.

At the Taia part, I like to keep mine in grave as a backup. If opp interrupts and you can make Shaman, you can special it back and either grab or send water tenyi off the Taia (which is like because monk) so you have an extra form of interruption, or summon back baxia and have another larger body + follow up. Also helps get materials in grave for protos.

Great list ! Couple of questions tho: how do you feel about swallow’s cowrie as a way to cut down on birds and add flexibility in the sense of being able to get the one you need to hand (e.g. if you only have 2 warblers and use it to get either sparrow or wagtail)? Also now that apollousa is gone (rip) what do you think the replacement is? It makes it quite difficult to get to revolt through bearbrumm now
@camchrist6251 Cowrie is an interesting option, I'll have to test it out. The deck will probably look drastically different with no apollousa now, I'll have to put out a new list after I mess with it a bit.

just built swordsoul for the first time last night! Thanks for the combo tips. Mo ye + wyrm pretty self explanatory, but I don't think I could've came up with Baxia to pop Monk on my own.

what do you think about the new fusion fiend necroquip princess in plunder patrol from the new set? looking like it may work
@JeromeHeadley-ru6vc I hadn't seen that card yet, that does look pretty good for this deck. You'd have to watch out for getting Plunder locked but otherwise it looks worth experimenting with for sure.

Thx for the Video, but before you post Deckprofiles make sure you know what you are doing. I play Marincess since it is viable and i dont wanna Flame you here, but this is not a good decklist. Yes, you See Play every Hand you draw, but then you also can Add bas. It's a Handtrap deck at the moment and not a Deck for play your Engine full combo, it's enough to have Link 4 and Trap in Hand, when you choose the right handtraps and for the other 4 Cards. I appriciate your try and i love every marincess Player, but in Future say its your Decklist and not made for Competitiv play on Tournaments. Thanks to you and wish you good luck in your next games.
