This is the Bard as I have been running it as Heal Support since Pre Alpha 2 testing. this build focuses on self and group survivability especially in the early to mid game.

Need to be using ur weapon finishers and deadly finishers, with resonant weapon for bard at lvl 19 I get 6k shock dmg hits

Youre leaving a lot of damage on the table. With Song Mastery dissonance skill point, you should be weaving 3 attacks in between that add discordance to each attack proccing your finisher, between the skills. Its 1000s of damage/min. With that you dont even need half the skills. Youre just rotating through a few melodies every few seconds
Can you explain this in more detail? Pretend I’m in 5th grade please. I want to understand exactly what you are meaning.
It's crazy what decent gear does in this game. I'm actually doing slightly better damage numbers than you at level 13, and it hasn't substantially changed up to my current level 16. Also, bard cap talent is terrible and i think it's funny (unfortunately) that you don't use it either.
Jest as a side note..... he says jest is for healing himself but it reads "target ally" and yes it heals your friendly target!
@@Warbringar yes you are correct, i was meerly mentioning the self heal because everytime i needed a self heal before it would never switch to the heal if i was targeting an enemy
They need to bring back Quick Wit. One click and you get two skills.
its still there. u can just spec it (for free) to be 2 buttons instead of having it target based

why not use mesmerizing dance prior to using dark lullaby this way you get more cc when lullaby ends? also i feel like you're wasting your resonant stacks a full combo will use up 8 stacks which is around 400% of damage also applies volatile. id probably start with chilling lament first as well since it last longer then discordant then hit with the tomato then mesmerizing dance to end to get more out of lullaby
because of the countdown timers on the debuffs, Dance takes to long and all the other debuffs drop off and the damage only stacks up to 5 debuffs anyway
Also the burning from mock would wake them up instantly, right?

Pop haste before the rotation much more satisfying. Oh and the bubble break to give resonant stacks is really nice
@@yiannit20 yes i need to add that to my rotation thanks i hit it a couple of times in the rotation by instinct but i need to add it in when i do mesmerizing dance and maddening dance

You sure evasion works? If you're going to be just a mana battery why would you get Counterpoint if you're only going to be using pensive Melody. Crescendo will make pensive Melody stronger

I'd love to go bow and sword, not tome, but I heard Bard is some sort of caster. How would that work? I also can't find the weapon skills anywhere (don't have access yet). That's what I'd be interested in, how to play bard with different weapons, armours.
@@aomukai i have run both ways i do like the shortbow and greatsword, thankfully AoC makes standard physical weapons as well as spell based weapons which makes the bow/sword viable

One thing stellos87 and armoredmonkey pointed out that i missed is that if your needing more heals you can swap Chilling lament with Serenade for more burst heals
