Good preaching, i see the trinity as water which can exist in various forms, liquid solid and gas, i.e different manifestations of the same entity (water)

Indeed it's a nice analogy, the only challenge is that it presupposes that God's manifestation in one state would bring a pause to God's other manifestations. Which might be in line the argument that some raised that God's manifestations in different times, is how the Trinity works, which unfortunately isn't. As promote the idea that the Father is of the Old Testament, Christ is of the New Testament and the Holy Spirit is of the contemporary world which sort if tallies with your liquid, gas and solid analogy. The fact is the using your analogy THE HOLY TRINITY exist simultaneously in those 3 state. As Christ was in the world, The Father was both in heaven and the earth,so was also the Spirit and Christ himself.
