    Is this for rendering or can this be used for game assets? I am trying to make a table for sims 4 CC

    • @BlenderInferno
      @BlenderInferno День тому

      Great Question! The number of vertices is pretty low so it should work fine for a game asset especially if your targeting computers. That being said there are certainly things you can do to a model to reduce the amount of polys to better optimise for games. To do this you can just duplicate the model and then for organizing you can rename it to something like optimised (model name) for example and in edit mode you can go through a process of removing edges which don't really impact the shape of the object, but for this model I'd say there wouldn't be too much to remove maybe you could delete the bottom faces on the legs since they may not be seen but that level of optimization may be excessive for you. To summarise what I'm saying the table should have a good enough poly count for your project as it uses very little geometry. Optimising this model would maybe give you that fraction of a second speed increase or tiny frame rate increase which no one will probably notice to be honest.

    hii, question, about metallic pbr map, the option is emision?

    • @BlenderInferno
      @BlenderInferno 18 днів тому

      For baking yes just make sure the value matches the metal. What I mean by this to keep it simple is if it's a non metal the emission would need to be completely black and of it's a metal completely white. If you're using nodes plugged into the metallic slot you can simply plug those into the emission slot temporarily for texture baking

    I had a question but I'm unsure if anyone would know what I mean. But lets say someone wants to use grayscale as their height and depth, but when you plug it into a bump node sometimes you get cracking and gridlines where the light is reading the little face planes and such. How can I fix visual anomalies with gray scale using a bump node and how can I export that or is it even possible. For instance windows 3D model view cannot read grayscale as far as I know. I know how to bake it as normal but lets say I want to be eccentric. It's grayscale or nothing! j.k. but is it possible to fix these issues?
