Okay got it, I've used the same actually. But my frosting didn't get hard. Its still soft and I can press it. Would it not get as hard as the cupcake base?

Hi.. Sorry for late reply, thanks for watching my tutorials. The time taken to harden the frosting depends on ambient temperature also, you can try increasing the ratio of melt and pour soap base

Hi...yes the base already contain a preservative (Always check with your manufacturer). So, while making whipped soaps, or scrub with jojoba beads (like this tutorial) , adding a preservative is optional. But when I make SUGAR SCRUBS, I always prefer to add preservative since there is a lot of substrate for the microbes to grow on. Thank you

Hi Emilie. Thanks for the question! Yes they are same. Whipped soap base is the generic name. And Foaming Bath Butter (BRAND NAME) is whipped soap base sold by "STEPHENSON UK". For example.. Mobile phone is generic term but the Brand sold by apple is iPhone!

Hey.. I can totally understand this problem. I live in New Delhi, India where temperature can go 45-50 degree Celsius during summers. I tried adding stearic acid but it resulted in grainy appearance of the whipped soap. Whipped soap wasn't as creamy as it should be. honestly I don't know about any thickener that we can use but I will do research and will let you know. Thank you
