Van Hool C/CX Master Power | How it works!
Переглядів 125Рік тому
This is a walkthrough of the troubleshooting steps that I use to diagnose a condition where the main 24V power will not come on as expected. Navigating the wiring diagram and where to look for the correct voltage readings are explained. I may not have said it in the presentation but obviously we should make sure the batteries are not dead, and they are hooked up correctly before going down this...
Van Hool C C/X Ignition Circuit | How it works
Переглядів 37Рік тому
This is a walkthrough of the troubleshooting steps that I use to figure out why a Van Hool C-Model motorcoach ignition circuit is not working. I tried to cover from start to finish of the steps that I follow and hopefully this video will help everyone in the UA-cam world. This is my first video and I hope to make more for other circuits so any suggestions how I can make this better or what circ...
Yeah mine is doing the same thing but I'm just going to throw it away. I'll buy something other than Keurig from now on.
Great Video. Helpful. One more note to add to. Your circuit board may have a conformal coating on it which seals the board. To De-solder the capacitors you can use a toothbrush and some Isopropyl alcohol on the brush to soften and then carefully remove it from the solder around the capacitor leads. you may have to use a small exacto knife to remove it around the solder joints before trying to remove capacitors. If you don't do this you will have much trouble trying to de-solder the capacitors as you won't get enough heat transfer.
Hello there, well as I can see you are new on UA-cam. One advice, I am like 7 years here and no big success, however recently started to upload much more and often than before, and it started going to be better. So just upload more and often and make videos more straight to point, faster , in 2 -3 minutes. people do not stay on video like this for a long. Good luck and ofc , like and sub for me its not big but a little of support.
Fanta. Thank you for reaching out. I appreciate your advice and will try to make some smaller videos of topics that are important. I do agree with you that sometimes to get a lot of views and more traffic quick and to the point videos are better. This one is working ok for just being uploaded a few days ago, and I plan to make a second one with a larger chip when the new board arrives. I will try to keep it shorter and see how it goes. I also subscribed to your channel to see what you have been working on.
I BEEN A ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN FOR OVER 45+ YRS AND THIS KEURIG MODEL IS THE MOST STUBBORN SOB I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS TO TAKE APART. THE CAPACITOR REPAIR I CAN DO IN MY SLEEP. THIS KEURIG WAS DESIGNED TO KEEP PEOPLE FROM REPAIRING IT. 😂😂
THOSE CAPS I JUST DRILL A HOLE IN THEM AND THEY COME RIGHT OUT . WHO CARES IF THE CAPS ARE GONE. IT IS THE BACK OF THE COFFEE MAKER. The Transistor heat sinked to the bottom metal is a control TRIAC. WORKS LIKE A RELAY, BUT SOLID STATE.
Do you know why my k155 only produces about 2oz of water? I got it for free and was trying to fix it. Other than that it works OK.
Try to descale it first, and if thay doesn't help i believe there is a way to calibrate the amount of water for each size. Look up how to calibrate cut size for that model, and you should see instructions.
So I have a K150 which is really the same thing however be warned that on mine the capacitors were GLUED IN. I made it that far so I wasn't going to give up. I barely got the board freed enough to tilt it and I soldered new caps on basically upside down lol. But it fixed it! My screen also was still working but would randomly do this clock while telling me to replace the water reservoir even tho it was still in... And the screen would have lines rolling down it all the time. Seems the two caps (1000uf @ 35V for both) have fixed all the issues.
Great to hear Corey. I have given the unit to a shop that I do some work for and they use it every day. They are very happy to have one :)
Good job. Keurigs are miserable to get into to service. The older ones are even worse than this. Incidentally, those Teapo brand capacitors are absolutely the worst quality electrolytic capacitors I come across... I've replaced hundreds and hundreds, if not more, of them from computer motherboards mostly, over the last 20 years or so. They're everywhere and are absolute garbage. Cheapo Teapo garbage. Best Regards. Keep up the good work.
Thank you John for the comments and checking out my video. It am glad you liked it. I guess if you want to sell more product you got to use the least expensive parts. I can only imagine how many of these things end up in a landfill because of this problem.
Thank you! I could not find a good breakdown video for the 155. I really appreciate you showing us the entire journey and not editing out the 'hard parts' to make it look smoother. This things is a bear to get into. After replacing the two capacitors, it works like new.
Thank you for letting me know that the video was helpful. It is a bear to get into for sure. I can only hope this helps others as well.
