Shockwave - Disc Golf Glue Bed Dye - Crupaloop Studios
First dye for a friend! Tried out a new method by using a straw to blow the dye around instead of swirling. Really like the potential for future dyes doing this!

    Didnt know you actually could save the "blurred" spots, with just removing it with a paper towel! nice video!

    I’m 43 seconds in and loving the music and what’s the secret to getting stamps off? You make it look so easy.

    Would this be able to do with that dye mix in lotion or conditioner? Currently trying all kinds of strange combos to see and happens and learn.

      I haven't tried conditioner but I would think you can do the same pattern. From what I understand you would just be mixing the dyes with the lotion, though I don't know the amounts

      @@TTV_Sleepy90 art stores will probably be your best bet. On the iDye website they show what stores to go to, just make sure you get iDye Poly

    Do you mix any thing in to the glue? Looks so easy when you blow on the colors my dont move like that.

      Nope. It took my a few try's to figure it out, and it's sped up I the video so it really goes slower than you think. Give it a few test runs and tinker with straw height, angles, etc. That step takes a lot of patience

    What do you mix your powder dyes with?

    • @crupaloopstudios8173
      @crupaloopstudios8173 3 роки тому

      Acetone. Haven't perfected a mixture ratio yet. Some of the powder stays undisolved so I let it sit before using so it sinks to the bottom

    Why prochem over idye?

    • @crupaloopstudios8173
      @crupaloopstudios8173 3 роки тому

      I thought prochem had more specific colors and was easier to order directly from their site. I use some iDyes because they are easy to find in stores but more difficult to get online.
