It's going to be gutless. Yea it will rev out at high rpm but it won't have power. Also plenty of antique tractors had different types of 2 stroke engines

Just bought an 85 Tri Moto 225DX for $600 about a month ago. Sad to say the machine is very beat up and has many problems, but she's still quite strong and fun enough to keep me on it lol. I hope to put a new motor in it soon so it runs and shifts better

I own a 1982 FF24 and Back in the late 70s I worked at a Sears Dept store they had this Front End Loader in the Back of the Parts Dept, No one knew what it was therefore, so I bought it with my Ff24 so it took a little bit to fit it to that Tractor but it works fine, I also went to a heavy Equpment sale and found a back hoe that sears sold this was only a catalog item only so i restored that as well man that's cool stuff...

Love to see you rebuild the LTD engine. They were supposed to be a great upgrade to the twin pipes, Duel plugs, carbs and 4 into 6 porting

The outward cast part on the cowl is because the clutch eats a hole in the cowl

Also you can buy a new belly pan

Oil injector is attached to the throttle
