Really beautiful views! Cool channel too, I’ll be a new subscriber
@@Michigananglingadventures Thank you! We appreciate you!

Heard there will not be a Paric Tournament this year 😢
Awesome vid my dude!
The BEST video I have seen yet on installing marine electronics!!! I bought a barn find 2000 Lund Adventure that had been in storage for 15 years. I have updated the trolling motor plug and battery cables to handle 24 volts, installed an onboard battery charger and was trying to determine the best way to wire up my new Helix 10 and the older Lowrance Elite HDS. You explained it perfectly!!! Thank You
@@jamesmay3812 glad it helped!
I hate fishing inside the slips at LOZ. That damn crossbar will get you every time 😂
@@SilverReed-d1b lol, a lot of fish come off of that bar though. It can be a royal pain getting in some of the tight spaces, especially when you aren’t rewarded with a fish lol

We finished our plots up last night at midnight.....AND God blessed us with some rain today and hopefully the next couple of days here in Tennessee....We just planted clover, winter rye, and oats..... now we wait. Hope you have a great season....
That’s a good mix! Best of luck to you as well! Hope the rain falls for you timely!
What a view 👍 now that could be dangerous in the rain
For sure! Yeah I would suggest going when it’s dry due to steep terrain and all dirt and rock paths.
Beautiful views! You going to post more content from your trip?
@@margaretvolmert5638 yes couple more videos in the line up!
Very useful - thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Are planning a new video for this year?
@@user79592 yes I am. Will be out soon
You can get a female end and a little wire and make a short cord to plug it into.
Sure can! Thanks.
Luckily I hunt on leases land where we have our hunting camo and i can leave most of what you displaced back in my trailer
That’s great! Thanks for sharing. Good luck this season!
@MidwestOutdoorExperience just reread what I wrote, and I sounded like a privileged ass... not my intentions, should have proofread. Meant to say, " Your list of items are what I would bring for sure, just glad I don't have to pack them in anymore. Great video. I hope you find a great buck this year.
When I was in the USAF, I used to put 2 rolls of toilet paper under my front tires (overnight) before bivouacs, And it got the TP down to about an inch each
Now that is some great thinking! Thanks for the idea!
Has happened many times during Archery season. But it's difficult to explain the wonderful memories and flashbacks that come to mind over the years. 😊🎉❣️
Well said!
I feel stupid for having to look this up
@@BAKEDnotTOASTD UA-cam is a great tool! No need to feel stupid! I look stuff up all the time and love to provide videos that can help others!
Great video, thanks!
I usually carry too much also but you never know , clothes is the hard thing getting cold on the stand but the walk to and from then we have to take it off and of course water usually too much and food, snacks. The weather is so unpredictable come October and November
@@DAVIDFleer-i7z weirdly enough snacks is the one thing I don’t ever bring unless I plan to sit all day! Good luck this season!
Would you mind sharing your bait caster rod and reel make and model? Also what type and test line were you using in this video? I am not a tournament fisherman, but enjoy catching bass at LOTO. I enjoy crank baits, topwater and many others, but struggle throwing Worms, jigs with creatures, etc. I am on the lower end of the lake at the 2MM. Any info would be greatly appreciated on the bait caster setup.
@@emontgomery1234 I throw a Daiwa Tatula (OG Models that are discontinued) new models are good too though, and a Dobyns 704c. Sometimes a 703c, but only for lighter weights. 17lb seaguar invizx for fluoro, usually 15-17lb trilene if using monofilament
Going down this Fri for a Sat tourney appreciate the tips every little thing can make the difference TFS!
Best of luck!
What part of the lake did you fish? Thanks for all the videos

Wasn’t easy but was different the other tournament the same day outta red oak… 24lbs won it lol but we were in 10th with 14 somethin. Looking forward to winter fishin!
@@kadenz10kz yeah we heard about that! Nice job. I think the further up the lake you go the better the shallow bite is. I fished lower end after the tournament for about an hour and the shallow bite was much slower.
Good job! Thx
When you flip docks do you let it sink to the bottom or just a couple feet or both
@@samkeely3729 almost always to the bottom. I always pay attention though if I’m getting bit as soon as it hits the bottom, a few hops later, or if they never let it get to the bottom. I think most bottom bites in a little bit deeper water the fish follow it down, shallow water is either/or. I like to try different weights to see if it gets me more bites though. Sometimes that is all the difference
Nice
Nice to see fellow union brothers out there fishing. Great video guys.
Thanks!
Looks you guy had a fun time, and at least caught fish, 16 out of 101 is pretty good, September can be a fickle time to catch fish!
@@mobasser It was a blast, we joked at how many fish we caught and couldn’t get 5 lol. 10% was about our average. Another 30 minutes we would’ve had 4, we were due
Thanks for posting. Always enjoy your videos.
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching!
Now this was a nice change of pace video, enjoyed it
@@mobasser glad you enjoyed!
Truman, Lake of the Ozarks, and Table Rock Lake in Missouri are horrible when those big T-storms roll in quick.
Building this NOW. I use to sell spool furniture I made when I live in San Diego. Had a great suppler of spools (free) and I sold them weekly at the local farmers market. Now I live in NC and I'm building a range on my property. I'll have to find a local supplier of spools! Who knows, maybe I'll start selling shooting tables! Great video!
Thank you! Yes the shooting table is still in great use and is holding up fantastic! Hope it turns out well for you!

@@paintersson Thanks. She sure did! She had a lot of fun pulling cranks! It was a great trip.
you need to be hooked to a safety harness from the ground up.
I use the life lines and my lineman belt with a long secondary to go around the tree while I hang stands. Until I can get the new lifeline hung.
this is honestly the only thing I don't like about the ghost. I wish they just used the same head as they are now using on the recon.
Once you get used to it it’s not as bad but for sure a learning curve. Otherwise I like my ghost.
I've caught a few bass with bloody tails like that this year. Usually I figure something grabbed them while they were on the line, but there were no teeth marks or anything.
Is this your same strategy for crappie when they are running water?
@@daveotto9404 I like main lake docks for crappie, but you can find them loaded up on points. Typically they’ll still be suspended over something. Shad, brush, rock pile etc.
Great job, young man!
Thank you! Appreciate it!
You think you'll ever go lithium?
I honestly want to when my batteries go bad but it’s going to mess with the weight of my boat so I’ll have to do some adjusting on my prop to pad measurement. Thankfully my batteries are fairly new so it’ll be a few years at the soonest hopefully before I have to make that decision.
