I love this soundtrack. I also love how for the first 1:15 minutes of the "Wolves/Law of the Jungle" track you can actually hum the first half of the theme for Star Trek: Voyager, and harmonically, it fits perfectly. Don't know if that was intentional or not, but pretty cool!

The angelic voice worked good for a hypnotic snake but Sterling Holloway was better at the song. Glad this song was put at the end credits and not put into the actual scene.

Too dull in comparison to the original.

Ugh, this song was flat. Was NOTHING compared to the original and he left out the part about pricking a prickly pear and using the claw on a raw paw paw. Also, this Mowgli CANNOT sing.

1:35-2:13 This gives me ‘Earn Your Happy Ending’ Vibes! 🥰😄😀😌😇❤️ Where the characters go through a lot of darkness, grief, hardship, and anguish than is really necessary, but at the end, they finally get their happily ever after!🥹🥹😃🥰🥹

I appreciate just how much they dial up the brutality of Shere Khan in this rendition. In the cartoon, he's threatening, but he doesn't actually do a whole lot to prove it. And the big thing is he only appears on screen when Bagheera isn't around, almost like he's afraid of him for some reason. In this version, not only does he not fear Bagheera in the slightest, but he absolutely pummels him multiple times in the movie.
