Awesome! Txs for sharing. I had never heard of Simon McBride until he joined Purple. Saw them in Lisbon Nov22 and my jaw dropped. He is an exceptional guitarist. The crisp clarity of his tone and his phrasing. Hats off, sir and beautifully done by all the band. 👍🏻

Hallo Bernhard. Ich danke Dir ganz herzlich für deinen Upload. Ich war vor der Bühne damals und darüber heute unheimlich dankbar, diese Truppe live gesehen zu haben.. Ich glaube, das war eines von drei Konzerten der Band außerhalb England. Für Karlsruhe hatte ich zwei Karten, aber Covit schwappte über uns. Und jetzt ist David tot. RIP. Dadurch ist dein Video für mich wie ein wertvolles Erinnerungsstück. Seit 1975 habe ich ca.800 Konzerte gesehen. Dieses ist unter den Top 5. Zumindest in meiner emotionalen subjektiven Beurteilung. Haste gut gemacht.

I'm so glad I was introduced to this artist by a musician friend years ago. I still listen to it because I'm so inspired by the talent and the fact that it's Christian Prog rock.🎶

The band are bringing out a Blu-ray version of this near the end of the year. A fitting memorial to the great talent that was David Longdon and a band at peak performance level. Apparently Rachel and David discovered the catwalk into the audience and it was a bit of competition as to which danced down it more.
