Trx4 High Trail edition getting out on some rock
Well this is what i need for my Scx6, i curse the engineers at axial every time i have to remove the body, but still love the rig.
@@WoodsUnknown you can get it like 30 bucks I’m cursing engineers waiting for cj7 scx6
That is one sharp looking rig, I look forward to more videos and thanks for sharing.
Well Id love to be making content however my Iphone the camera module quite working and don't have the money to replace it or there would be tons of videos! Thanks for least watching what I have
@brettskinner5824 hope you get a replacement soon.

They builder knows he has to paint it. The instructions are there to go back to after your done painting. The shocks are built. You just have to insert your shaft. Lol Yes, it should have servo horns included. Any 20mm horn works
Love that beginning! It's not all hard lines and sick crawls. Sometimes you do get glitches. Maybe Mercury is in retrograde! 😅
Yea was glad I figured it out now just need a fully charged lipo.
Very nice❤🎉😊
Hey glad you enjoyed thanks for watching
Also, I don't understand page 18 on the manual step 7 and 8 😢
Wow!! I've bought one and I've never built any RC in my life..lol 😮 I would have loved to see you build as you go, that would have made this more simple to rookies like me and visual is always better..I hope I make it 😢. I haven't started it but it looks difficult 😢. Ty
Nice!! Do you know what type pf grease and thread lock we need to use for the build? The manual doesnt specify that..just curious since im knew to all this..lol😢
I personally use automotive marine grease and blue thread lock
@@brettskinner5824 oh ok cool..u just found out we also need oil. Ugh.which oil..shock oil??
Almost.....you'll need to install the magnets to complete your build ....than you'll get respected bragging rights...
I have burned both trx4 and axial motors and speed controls. They are simply junk. But you also running in the snow and 2.2 tires 🫣
Well good sir I'd have to agree they are junk but gotta love the smell of dead electronics. In the mean time I've gone brushless and reconfigured the rigs geometry and life is good other than to much snow ATM.
Been Wanting this for my Early Bronco , So Much Better than Body Clips
I like this over the body clips, are you using the stock bumper and aftermarket bumper together?
front is aftermarket rear is stock
@brettskinner5824 okay cool thank you 👍
@@SoCalCrawlers no thank you for watching and conversating lol if only I could come crawl with you

Great Mod ! Props , looks Awesome !
Thanks for the comment and watching the video.
Awesome! How are you going to get it to stay down and not flop around while trailing? Looks killer!
I used two small magnets it works perfectly no issues with it staying down
@@brettskinner5824 that’s awesome! Would be great if you could fit a battery up there and the power switch. How cool and easy would that be?! I just put in the Fine Laser designs latch system. Life and time saver lol
Great job, looks good
Good work i plan to do mine to
Dude look up KevinFine on clippless body for the CJ 7
Awesome video, liked and subscribed. I put 2.2's on my trx4 in snow and submerged to the roof and still runs fine, all my scx24's love water as well.
Exactly I have a high trail trx4 my k30 and it's still running stock set up. Thank you for subscribing and watching hope I can get more videos of crawling
@@brettskinner5824 I have the same high trail red k5
Come on it’s not that bad. My c1 truck has to be flipped over and 6 bolts removed to change batteries and turn it on and off
Wasn’t designed for giant 2.2s That probably helped burn the motor up as well
Well tough luck hence why I build my rigs not do rtrs usally
Nice looking rigs ya have there. The Axial is somewhat off compared to scaling down a Jeep, as well as if you trail along side a Trx4 Blazer 1/10 its the same wheelbase so its definitely off. Say maybe 11.5 maybe 11.7 wheelbase. But either way its dang nice!!! In actuality all the trx4 and others are little bigger than 1/10 persay depending how you look at it honestly. It depends really on ones perception of scale I guess. Either way thank you for sharing some nice rigs
Three rather impressive rigs! And if you ask me the CJ7 is in 'perfect for having fun' scale!
I see the wheels and tires are not oem so I would not blame axial
#speechless it's all good had a spare scx10 II axle lying around swapped it out and we are back up and driving;) have a great day may you never loose your driveshaft.
Lost them and much more but my fault but at least we can fix em not like Walmart toy😂
It’s really about a 7.5 scale or so. Not 10th.
Lol it's scale enough to make me happy with it.
Ooooof. Sorry bro... Wats the fix?
Aw I just had a brushed Traxxas motor lying around threw that in easy swap if ever anyone needs a video on it let me know but yea bout to shoot a quick thoughts video on the rig.
Actually if you take the dimensions of a 1:1 cj7 and reduce them to 1/10th scale the axial rig is off. But it's still an awesome rig. Also look into the GI JOE classified series for a figure for the cj.
They r the lenght, because the Xmaxx is a 1/6 scale
Fun crawl...

I swithed to those same mirrors! So much cooler!!
Very nice!!
nice crawling and nice truck💪
Hello 👋 your video is very good ❤
Well thank you so much for watching fellow equipment operator. hope your subbed
Wow nice video❤❤
thank you for watching glad you enjoyed it hope your subed have a great day
Looks to be the Shelley dam! That's a really fun place to crawl 👍
yep and no one was there had the whole place to our self
People are saying the additional manufacturing cost of the lift kit is why they chose to use the black window stickers so I think its a tradeoff in value but still a good one.
I like the truck but it sucks knowing I scratched body all up and replacement is like 150 dollars...
I have 2 stampede, 2 rustlers, 2 trx4 and all stock running good
The chassis and the rear arms and the bulkhead are the weak points. I replaced them as they broke. I put RPM arms all the way around and a cheap aluminum rear bulkhead and diff case from eBay that was 20 bucks. I use the M2C Chassis. The rest of mine is stock and doesn't have many issues. It's so much fun to drive. Don't skimp on the Steering servo. Have fun, bro.
Dude thank you for watching first and for most. Secondly for the sound advice greatly appreciated.
Ok question folks qs8 connector on esc is there a benefit to these connectors if I run them id have to have adapters if you can help me pls do
What's with the hole cut out in the bed?
It's got a 5th wheel hitch so I can pull my goose neck trailers
I'm in process building one now. It is a nice kit, not for beginners for sure. Tools don't need to be included that'll just increase the price and if you're building the mammoth chances are you've already built other kits so tools should be on hand already. I've built an orlandoo hunter, kit is small hardware. Orlandoo can condition you for frustration. I watched a bunch of videos of the mammoth and having a hard time deciding what color, weathering, camouflage or not, but yes this kit is awesome definitely getting some build time in.
If you turn the top spring retainer on the shocks downward about 3/4" to stiffen up the springs, it will usually eliminate a lot of the body rub.
Thank you so much.. I'm getting the bronco
Not the new f150 interesting
I tried my axial capra 1.9 s and it was quiet for body rub and better side Hillingdon and still capable

Your not a very good rc driver….it crawls. Remember its the operator not the rig
Well thanks for watching what rig do you crawl with.
