That would depend on the type of patio cover construction. Aluminum/steel patio cover can be built on top of concrete slab without footings per engineering.
Don't you need footings either way? Slab or pavers?
No, we can build on top of concrete slab but that would minimize post spacing per engineering.

It’s a thinset hi bond mortar with Kevlar in it that’s bonding each block. You know the same stuff that’s in bullet proof vests. It would take a bomb or jackhammers to break our block work down. Nice try though 😂

Do you mean popcorn as in the tiny bits of concrete? Is the goal to break off bigger chunks that are easier to pick up ?
Yes that’s what he means however, when you have wire in the concrete it makes it more difficult to get larger pieces considering 6” spacing on welded wire mesh.

Nice Video! Forgive me for butting in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you researched - Giyily Landscaping Yatty (do a search on google)? It is a smashing one of a kind product for unlocking the secret to make money with landscaping without the hard work. Ive heard some great things about it and my m8 got amazing success with it.
