How about the rock structure?
I believe it is sandstone, pretty soft.
@ I ask because I can see multiple layers of erosion from a river. It seems to be a large petrified being. Sandstone or not, it has been there from many, many years.

Oh i love that place. The only time to enjoy it is in the winter. You can just get so lost out there its incredible. However i have not seen that. That place is so big, a man can explore it his whole life. Not to mention a massive gold treasure hidden somewhere. Thank you and Be safe!!

As an arizonan this is never a surprise to me that most people think its one big Death Valley but nah were lowkey thriving in the plants and water biz outchere
