I didn't watch much of the show, but I liked that there were more cameos from previous Sentai rangers considering the fact that it was a standard season and not an anniversary season.

While I do agree and share your worries about the current red. To make a broad statement saying that sentai has no good reds is insane. Zenkai Juran is the least annoying red that we've gotten in quite a while yet somehow you think he's the worst? As for Gozyu Wolf, I was worried with these traits for red because Toei has recently made a lot of modern reds have the immature obnoxious shonen protagonist character archetype. However, based on what I've seen, it seemed like he'll be aggressive only in the right moments such as Gokai Red or like Ryu Ranger who was hot-blooded but not obnoxiously immature. They're doing the lone wolf type here and he seems to be a badass red. Of course, we'll have to wait and see how he'll be in the show.

I'm going to make another prediction. The 6th ranger will be a male pink. If Black ranger is female i would definitely agree that the 6th ranger has to be a pink male to balance the gender gap.

Yeah funny enough , I prefer Spanner than Houtaro , and just think the writer just screwed up when they gave him the 3rd rider spot despite giving him 2nd rider qualities while rinne to me feel like the usual 3rd female rider 🗿(like after getting the ability to transform she still had 3 instances where she can't transform at all , bruh)

My only complaint with him, is that the character assassination before the Rainbow Gotchard arc. Like he got his butt handed to him by Gigist, then after the arc with Kamedon he went from “I will make my own resolve with the chemies as my tools” to “All chemies are dangerous, and I’m going to eliminate them all even though I’m still going to use them to achieve my own warped persona but still destroy them either way.” Hell even the Valvard Kurogane debut was still sour to me cause he never did get a proper character retribution and never said sorry about the stuff he did.

This guy just got the last place on the Reiwa Third Rider list. Right now, still on the top spot is our loveble cat Neon... let hope that our Third in Gavv can behave better then this guy....

My issue with Supana is that he gets humbled to beg for Hotaro and co.'s help during the Angel Malgam arc, only to revert to his old ways once the crisis is averted. There's also the fact that he could have serve as a nice contrast to Hotaro about how for his ideals for Chemies and humans to peacefully coexist is too impractical from a realistic perspective, yet he gets to be the punching bag of "cynicism is for losers" aesop.

Honestly, my biggest problem with Spanner is that he's way too cocky and aloof for how much he gets humbled. For a rider in a school based show, his lack of ability to learn is kinda embarrassing

All of Gotchard was overly ambitious and rushed. From the moment we learn of the 101 Chemmies this is clear. Then they dare put 3 Kamen riders and do a 5 episode spinoff in the middle of an already over filled storyline. There are level 10 Chemmies we never saw in action and they even added a 102nd for some reason. The show was a mess

3:00, I've been thinking about this when I was watching Getter Robo G ep 14. There was a horned woman who is the MOTW of the anime and what she was entrusted to do with her mission was to kill the Getter team in any way possible. When the Hyakki empire (the villains) decided to invade the science facility but she basically fend them off while most of the time, she was competing against Michiru and basically wanted to prove that she can find a lost boy the fastest way possible. She just wants to be number 1. She even took offense to Ryoma's remark about 'You are beautiful but your heart is dirty'. She basically got pissed that she's not a human but she is a demon but after a fight which she lost due to her emotions, she shot herself but lost her horn, meaning that she's finally become a human. Tbh, if you watch the episode, that doesn't sound like a villainous thing to do but rather what a jealous and mean girl would do. She just wanted to be a normal human being.

You should definitely do a character analysis at the end of the show when you finish watching

I think the analysis of Valvarad here is spot on as when he gets the Valvaradriver (keep in mind i haven't seen the episode yet but I assume he respects the chemies now) he pairs vehicle chemies with occult chemies. This is essentially giving the vehicles, machines, life using paranormal creatures, spirits (oni used to essentially be ghosts which hid in places before they basically became Japanese ogres and kitsune know magic). This is a nice touch.
