You're right now that I think about it, it's rarely a build if you can just level basic stats like vit and end and don't have to think about str/dex too much.

@@MrMashroom Don't know what would fit best because I'm not watching the whole vid. But probably something less hip hop and more metal or instrumental. Music with lyrics don't really make sense in vids where your not really trying to listen to the them.

With that much vitality he doesn't have much points to put into strength/dex, chaos weapons only need humanity for scaling meaning its ideal for his build, but with more damage leveling it would be outclassed by normal/crystal.

Like said, it's just a way to avoid putting too much points into strength and dex. The standard/crystal path is still better if you put levels in there

Well I still like it, but yeah maybe I'll enjoy the heck out of it again in 2 months, who knowa :). The stigma comes from japanese players primarily (as far as I can tell), most of them don't like it. I don't mind it if it's not overused and try to avoid it completely myself, just something I got used to while playing with japanese players. In their mind it's a cheap way to get the backstab when it's more fun to get the timing without parry down.

I was not aware there was such stigma among the Japanese playerbase, that does make some sense, given that parry backstabs are essentially a remedy to poor timing. Thank you for telling me, I had been wondering as I had seen that in a few other places and wasn't sure where it was coming from.

Avelyn is just so slow and punishable, yet so much fun - I rarely used it myself tbh, but I've seen players using it with some success

I think a lightning Avelyn + lightning bolts is the best ranged estus punish you can get without magic, and landing all 3 shots is an amazing feeling... until the opponent stops playing around and starts stabbing. Still, I actually took a player much better than me off-guard and killed them for the first time ever by suddenly pulling out the avelyn, as they tried to prediction parry me (which they had done with alarming regularity in the fights preceding this one).

Yeah but as far as I remember you could make a video yourself with clips where you killed me ;)

@@AERoVALKYRiE yeah it can be in good hands, I used it for 2 years to learn fishing that's why I try to avoid it nowadays. I also like running/jumping attacks with bigger weapons like Zwei, despite how stupid and predictable they are

@@Ruenkiller if you just look for activity I'd recommend low levels around sl 10 to 20 at the starter areas or sl 50 for anor londo. If you want some activity and good players you should go to sl 120-133 (for invasions) and try oolacile township, you'll meet the same 10 to 15 guys there but they usually know what they are doing

I usually prefer dual ring builds with around 1800 Hp but I can't deny the benefits of being an nearly unkillable beast :)

@@RadishHead7 it's called a barrel roll and it's a Button combo basically, if you search for it you can find some videos on how to do it. Another variation is the reverse roll, but I prefer the barrel roll

​@@glartonscotch480you don't want too. One shot builds are prominent in that range. Along with absolute min maxing. It was hell around that level.

@@RadishHead7 I mean a lot of the time you're getting one shot in meta too unless your health is stupidly high. Having to increase health to 75-80 really takes away ability to invest in other stuff.

This week i decided to make my first meta build dedicated for pvp. And now i know why this game is dead, all i wanted was make some duels, have some fun, learn and improve, them we have these r4tards playing there gr1iefingtrolling, point down and ganking for no reason, and the sad part is that they were good players lol. The game is already hard for itslef, but having as many clowns as we have in PSN meta just kills every news players will to keep playing

I was even able to kill them sometimes with some effort, but bro, why they have to treat new players like clowns lo, theyre killing the playerbase this way

@@slayertoten3106 Yeah there are some guys who treat new players like shit, but most are at least somewhat chill. Like irl some just project their issues on others and some are just weird, I never wanted to be part of the "dedicated" community and I only respect a handful of players (and it's totally independent from their skill level)

Yeah, im really starting to like learning the backstab meta so ill probably keep playing anyway, but i think its sad that the game could have a bigger playerbase if only more people were like you
