This is my childhood game and my first 2k game im happy your doing it justice not just covering the worse version

EA shuts down good games, Pvz gw2 is still goated. We can all agree that ea sucks nhl25 i don't have it but i heard that its the same (its always the same) like u know a fanbase is cooked when we go crazy when they change the score broad. Like i have nhl 19 and it's better than 24. Like ya the moment is more choppy but its still better .

Actually ea basketball series started in the 80s for the arcade and they were the most fun then when they had lakers and jam titles that were kinda the same and they changed the name when home consoles came out and I remember at the time the arcade technology was way more powerful than the home consoles in the beginning but live was always more arcade and fun let you have full control of your player but 2k is good and always took advantage but they were a player friendly company and weren't known for being so money hungry and aggregious they would make their games discounted with great gameplay creation great for the time and free and the controls were perfect and not animation heavy where you can't control everything like now since about 2017 is when they started the money hungry garbage they're on now which shouldnt be for a yearly release

2k has been terrible the moment they implemented vc. The second they did that the game put basketball at the wayside and monetization and gambling in the forefront

The thing I HATED about Live 19 was how the opposing AI would stick to you like glue in single player game modes. Pick and rolls, dribble moves, nothing could set you free. Otherwise the game was quite fun inded.

Ok so between like 27:38 to 28:00, the audio is slightly altered. There was music in the background, and according to UA-cam studios, it would’ve gotten me copyrighted. 2k is trash

2k25 is getting shit on , but as a pc player , having ERAs and updated graphics. Im good. Im satisfied, they added some cool details like im playing as Tracy McGrady in the Kobe era and the commentators were talking about "911 last year" which is pretty cool

OK this is not really all I want to say so I’ll probably write a different comment later but I might as well break this specific thing down. Witch is the difference between a 3D fighter and a 2.5D fighter because think you might have a laybled the games you talk about a bit wrong.(I have never played either so I can’t tell you) A 2.5 the fighter is a fighting game that plays like a two dimensional fighter except instead of using pixel, art or hand drawn animation they just use 3-D models. So there is not use of the 3D dimension in gamplay. (Think the fighters if you want to stick to the DB comparison) Meaning if you like sidestep, or dodge something by moving to the left or right that is a 3D fighter. (I’m not gonna break down arena fighters, when you play a arena fighter you will know)

For me the competition ended in 2010 with 2k11. I feel like that was the game that crushed the industry. EA never seemed to recover after sitting out that year. Its funny I grew up on EA bball games dating back to the early 90s Versus series(ie Bulls v. Blazers/Lakers V.Celtics) games going into NBA Showdown and NBA Live. Even messed with their March Madness games. But along the way stuff just kind of fell off. I think NBA Live 07 put a bad taste in my mouth. I ended up getting 2k8 when I switched to a 360 console(later in the console's cycle). Then 2k11 dropped and won me over. I feel like the presentation aspects and immersion as well as the gameplay did it for me. I only wish that we could have gotten a few more college hoops games because College Hoops 2k8 was the pinnacle for me. IF the NBA license stops being exclusive, I want EA to make an earnest attempt at winning back some of the legacy gamers that do remember how that series used to be. I also would love to see them try to work on a college bball game(Tho I don't think its actually profitable). I just like the idea of competition in the market. Same with the football side, I want 2k to be able to make NFL sim games again.

I still play Live 19 idc I'm craving a new live with updated rosters and graphics

My cut off was ps3 2k14 .....now I just update my roster manually an dont look forward to 2k getting better no more.....NBA 2K was about as real as an NBA game should be now they all about sweat money gambling an no gameplay focus in what got people loving NBA 2k in the first place

Live was worser than 2k for several years but after like live 18 and 19 it was a way funner game than any 2k after that. But 19 is too outdated now with rosters and arenas obviously so rather play 2k but 2k just isn’t that good anymore at all

COD GHOSTS is by far the best Call Of Duty of All Time in my opinion, I was 13-14 at the time and I’ve never played a cod or game that much, wish they would remaster it on next gen, I have rarely played cod since ghosts but have always said if they make a Ghosts 2 I will make a comeback to cod but I cannot see that happening

PS3 Version of 2K15 is literally a copy and paste of 2K14 which is basically a Copy and Paste of WWE 12 lol the reality was if you had 2K14 for PS3 you just paid 60 dollars to lose a bunch of the roster and CM Punk/Cena and Triple H/HBK Showcase otherwise it was 2K14 with less

Imo I love NBA live 19 wayy better. It has things in there that 2k doesn't have like, where you can play all over the world, different style courts etc.😊

I love this game actually, i think its my favorite NBA2k game, but i actually only play gm mode, i dont play mycarrer or online modes, and i have a blast.

I loved 2k14 first game I played online my issue with it is too many reversals like I would do a move then it gets reversed then I will reverse the reversal. I wish I can go back to these good old 2k14 online days without the hackers and corner spammers lol. I was picking up so many victories with Sheamus the tornado tag climatic matches were so much fun.

Use a different shot meter then I played 2k24 and played the w with having an 85 overall and use a different shot meter the default shot meter from 2k22 and 8ts helpful to me

Live 19 didn't sell well also had a bunch of problems franchise mode for the fifth time since live came back was unbelievably shallow especially compared to 2k no pc release no roster sharing the game just felt bare

We used to have so many different games to choose from. Sad we basically have one per pro sport now.
