I just started listening to Edwin McCain. I heard this song and fell in love with it, the music his raspy soul sounding voice. And the words were to me so beautiful in romantic sort of way. But then I heard him in concert talking about the meaning of it and I knew I loved it even more. Thank you Edwin MCCain for such a beautiful and moving song.🙂

I never knew the story until now...but this song has made me cry for years. I have seen Edwin McCain 6 times, once in Korea even! I love his music. This song has forever torn my heart out!
