A Veneer is a procedure where the dentist preps the front of a tooth by shaving 0.5mm from the surface, after which a wafer thin porcelain cap is bonded to the front of the tooth. It is minimally invasive and yields superb results if your teeth are reasonably aligned to begin with. Quite often teeth can be straightened up with braces before fitting veneers in order to get a perfect smile. A Crown on the other hand is a much more invasive procedure as it requires the tooth to be shaved down and reduced to a stump, after which a hollow cap is fitted over the whole stump, and your shaved tooth is essentially used as a peg to place a whole artificial tooth. So a Crown and a Veneer are different procedures, they are not the same thing. If your teeth are reasonably okay and are reasonably straight and all you want to do is change the colour and slightly change the shape then it is crazy to have them all crowned and have your teeth reduced to stumps. Just have them capped with true Veneers, procelain bonded only to the front of your tooth , you will get the same aesthetic look of Crowns but you will retain the integrity of your own teeth.

@12:15 I'm 11 days out from my first show and this is solid advice about considering the demands of prep AND a full time job. It's a challenge to do both well, and you really need the support from your employer if you're not self-employed too, IMO.

I don't get why you bought a poodle cross if you wanted a dog that doesn't shed. You could easily end up with a shedding dog as there's no guarantees what genetics will come through with these mutts. Why not just get a standard poodle and leave it in a teddy bear cut instead of supporting backyard breeders?
