@@CiaosRC I ordered upgrade MIP driveshafts for my Rustler VXL, hopefully they hold up better than stock, actually thinking about getting a Maxx Slash for a tougher truck.

yup, it does fit. I Actually put mine back to stock cuz that motor was cogging an insane amount. But before it was stock i put a different spectrum 280 motor and it was much better. I snapped a motor shaft but i jumped the car six feet in the air height wise and just to far.

Honestly i’ve never blew a diff at the skatepark. It’s usually driveshafts,a arms, and spur gears. It’s also just landing wierd and one power. Trust me, i’ve had some rough landings😂😂😂😂

not sure, but my driveshaft did break before so i’d assume it was the piece of the driveshaft that connects to differential

Temp was hot without heat sink and fan but with that i mean still pretty hot. that motor actually gave me problems so i put a different system in

@matthewschroeter9045 yeah it’s not bad especially with a heat sink and fan. motor is 280. Don’t know motor shaft size but i use the losi mini b brushless pinion and it’s works great

My motor actually went bad, I ran the truck once or twice with that brushless. I never had a problem with motor shaft since I put the losi mini b pinion on there. It was actually way faster than it should have been. I bought the new spectrum 4000 kv motor with an esc for my grom.

@politie_jip112 I believe 30amp esc & 4000kv motor. Runs great & I would really recommend for a good branded motor and esc combo. Can run 3s also but i’m not gonna do that. The stock connector is a ic3 so i got an adapter for it. Because you need a ic2.

@@motogbadger357 It was getting hot so I put a fan and heat sync. I actually had to reheat the system because my motor went bad. So i put a spectrum system designed for 1:18 that’s 400kv with a genuine esc not a 2 in 1 motor combo and so far it works great.

So it’s a the motor from the losi mini b brushless. I just took it out that car cuz that little thing was way to fast. The actual motor is spectrum firma brushless 6000 KV 2 in 1 esc.

@@TrucknWithStan Nope, didn’t have to change pinion size. 19 tooth pinion. Lucked out there! They both had 19 tooth so i just took the one off the mini b and put it on the grom. I am using a spectrum sr315.

So, normally you wouldn’t. But, the sr315 was already bound to a different slt2 so i just used that one. I probably could bind it to my rugged. But i’d have to somehow unbind it
