@ each of the Goa’uld were great in there own way. I enjoyed Apophis as he was the earliest Goa’uld we met when the show started and had the most development and story along with a fairly good conclusion.

@@SithCitadel66​​⁠ I would have to say Yu for the reasons you just explained he wasn’t a narcissist like the rest of the systems lords. He was more open to working with SG1 when was in his interest. It would’ve been good if they explored more of the system lords earlier in the series.

Yeah I agree with that take, although I also really liked the emphasis on Apophis, so maybe if the other system lords were explored to that level it would have been cool. So that’s what I am trying to do with my videos!

He was suave, charming and intelligent. He joked and laughed. He was willing to drop the Goa'uld voice and although he was evil, he wasn't always played as the over the top bad guy like apophis or Anubis. He was, dare I say, likeable.
