yeah the torke tailing mission was annoying as hell, but it's a game and it was supposed to go along the story to how it all went down, these older games cared about synchronization maybe a bit too much, it should have been just a challenge like a lot of the other missions, so instead of forcing the player to play a certain way it was based on choice, so if they failed it didn't matter as much, that's why challenges exist it's optional but in this sequence it was just annoying more than anything.

one of my favorite glitches in this game involved an endless Borgia army that you get to fight at the bridge sequence after breaking out katrina sforza, i can't spell her name, but you know who i'm talking about, anyway you can glitch that fight to be endless if you don't leave the area and hide from the guards in the bail of hay, but for the glitch to work, you have to go to the rooftop near the hay and fight guards on top loot them and then when you killed them all that see you, you jump into the hay and the game creates more guards, however it won't work if it's a memory sequence, so it's something you have to use as a progression story save and just never allow the game to move passed that part of the game on that save game. but yeah the most fun glitch ever, i accidently found out about this glitch and it was the most fun i had because you can endlessly fight against hundreds of guards for hours on hours until you are tired of it lol, i once did this for 2 hours straight because it was so fun, like it's better than the stupid training room trials because the guards are so plentiful and there is no timer that runs out either. they will wear down your armor in time though, and you will use all your resources during the fight because you end up using a lot of your medicine and your knives and your armor tends to wear down a bit as you fight, so make sure your gear is up to par to fight for longer if that's what you want, you can loot the guards but it's a bit tricky and can only be done on the rooftops properly lol. i would suggest trying this out if you want to see what i'm talking about.

this was the first game series that introduced the idea of investing lol, it's funny but i learned about investments though this games investing story elements, it got me to appreciate how investments can work in the real world, of course it's a bit more complicated in real life, but in this game it just worked so well, it made sense in the lore that you had to do this in order to build Ezio's empire of assassins that made it so they would last a lifetime and be able to expand across the seas, so not only was it a mini game mechanic, but it made sense in the lore of the story as well and for the training of your assassins, i loved reading about the little mini stories that you would send your recruits to, it just made the world feel so much more connected especially going into the next game, in AC2 you do this on a small scale to rebuild Mario's villa, but it loses value when the Borgia destroy the location only for Ezio to rebuild his empire in Rome. it was such a cool mechanic, i wish they didn't get rid of it in the newer games, it just felt so well connected to keep it.

i hate Ubisoft as a company but i loved this old game series back in the day, i still think the best games are the Ezio trilogy.
