If I may add this for record purpose to the on going discussion about Ọranfẹ. In 1898, about the third time that White European Christianity was again re-introduced to the City-State Kingdom of Ile-Ife, these people requested for some land to erect a building for their congregation in the name of their religion, my great grandfather, His Majesty the Deity King, Alayeluwa Ọba Adelẹkan Olubuse response was that "Ọranfẹ a binu", Baba Agba (Kabiyesi) said that they can only be allowed to worship their god in the virgin land called Iyekere-Igbo, Ile-Ifẹ in those days. This singular act alone tells how much Ọranfẹ is hold in the highest esteem by the entire Ootu people and most especially the Deity King Himself. Regular Signed, Olubuse III Sunday, October 20, 2024
Thank you for this record. Àgbà ò ní tán lórí ilẹ̀. Á jú ṣe o.

Ife ikedu traditions claim oranfe was much older than oduduwa,he was once a very ancient king of what we now know has ile ife, oduduwa took his inspiration and revolution from oranfe.
Absolument génial. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The story is still not clear 😕 is there no any other powerful diety that lives during the time of Oranfe or is he the only diety living alone then and marrying those women. Also, there's no proof of lamurudu shrine to show that he really existed, but there're other ancient diety shrines who still exist. Oranfe has shrine, but lamurudu doesn't have, but oduduwa, who they called lamurudu son, has shrine, and Oranmiyan who they called Oduduwa son has shrine. So how come.
You probably have heard of Adam, can you tell us those others around him at that time? If can accept others history without question why are you questioning ours?
Nothing like lamurudu in yoruba ,muslim create fake story of lamurudu,
So what was the relationship between Oranfe and Oduduwa? Why is Oduduwa more pronounced in Yorubaland than Oranfe?
I'M NOT SURE WHICH OBATALA THIS MAN IS TALKING ABOUT? HE'S CONFUSING IRUNMOLE TO ÒRÌṢÀ.

The man is only trying to give honour and superiority to his household ancestor. But you still need to do more findings from the people who have those ancestral shrines in ile ife and I'm sure most of these things will be clear to u. Because ifa confirmed oduduwa as someone sent from Olodumare to filled the earth with sand and spread it. And the chain ⛓️ which oduduwa used to descended from heaven is still in it shrine till today.
Since u know that,go n do ur own findings n make ur own content now, since u are more intelligent more than anyone.
He's saying the truth about oduduwa story , according to Ife history Obatala is baba Arugbo, older than all of them how come oranfe is older than Obatala
That's not Oduduwa, God sent Obala
We have made further enquiries. They will be out on this channel soon. Blessings!
Very articulate explanation
Thank you for your kind words.
With all due respect for this gentleman,I disagree totally with his narrative account of our history ,Aramofe is one of the sixteen elders known as Odumerindinlogu, and Eji ogbe is their father,Irete is the mother,Aramofe was the fourth son in that line, they were mentioned in the book revelation in the Bible and were referred to as 24-elders and four living souls, everyone should check it, lastly non of them live up till 18 century, these people live their life's at the beginning of time.
Take that your BULLSHIT Bible fake story back into your stinking ass

Yes ooo I was shock when the old man said in the other video that Lamurudu the father of Oodua was Oranfe son. That Oranmiyan was a grandson of Oranfe as well. People have been spreading fake news all this years
Odùduwà wasn't born, Odùduwà came with ẹ̀wọ̀n that's why is called Odùduwà atewonro
Quite revealing! I'm an Owu man from Abeokuta, however, I equally have a village called Ejio-Olufe. I've always wanted to know where the name Ejio emanates from. This work has greatly helped in my quest. Many thanks 🎉

Good job sir. But I thought Obatala was the great grandfather of Obamakin who lived in the era of Oduduwa. I believe Obatala had lived thousands years before Oduduwa.
Obatala wasn't a person ,ala means earth and sky from igbo .but oba is a person who an ancestor of oduduwa
Oramfe bi Jeye, Jeye bi Oduduwa, Oduduwa bi Obamakin (aka Obalufon Ogbogbodinrin). The person you are referring to, Obatala is a contemporary of Oduduwa, who was mixed with Orisanla who is way older than Oduduwa. Orisanla and Obatala are two separate beings.
@@kingc1198 Oduwa, not Oduduwa
@LewisMuturi-b7u back then people usually have more than 1 way of saying their name so you and I are both right
That’s a lie. Oranfe the father of Obamakin and grandfather of Oduduwa has the old man narrative in the other video
Obviously, many of our forefathers are Annunakis based on old Sumerian text , but their names were different in Yoruba mythology. His narratives corroborate with other studies. We should not limit ourself to religions and the so called acclaim holy books.
I quite agree with you on the links of these progenitors to the ANUNAKI. All the attributes ascribed to ORANFE are such as possessed by Anki and Enlil etc. Big kudos for this great work.
Glad that some yorubas are opening their eyes to these facts. It's too obvious. Orunmila was named Anki and Esu was named Enlil. Oyinbo don craze. But Oyinbo said that the Annunakis stories happened in Iraq or somewhere in middle-east.
