Team Reverse is a drift team from Japan,
known for its deep roots in underground Yokohama/ Tokyo drift scene. In this
exciting new UA-cam series, viewers will follow the journey of
Ryusei Akiba, Bandana and their team through many adventures, car builds, and action packed weekends on and off track. Together, they will build unique drift machines inspired
by their European adventures and bring them to life at Japan’s biggest
drift event, Drift Matsuri at EBISU Circuit in November 2024.

Naoki Vs Ryusei : The Battle on Drift Mountain
Welcome to DANGER ZONE, a one-of-a-kind event that combines time attack with head-to-head drift battles on Japan’s legendary Gunsai Touge! This snowy mountain road set the stage for some incredible moments, including an epic showdown where Ryusei Akiba faced off against Naoki Nakamura, D1GP champion and drifting legend. Ryusei gave it his all and finished second in an intense battle!
This event also marked the first snowfall of the season, making the atmosphere even more magical and challenging.
After the adrenaline-filled event, we met with the OGs of Team REVERSE-the original crew who built the foundation of this iconic team. They shared their stories, showed off a classic build, and reminded us why Team REVERSE has become a symbol of passion and dedication in the drift world.

Glad to see drifting is still a thing in Japan it would be such a culture killer for the place that’s famous for drifting went out of style but I know they’ve closed off a lot of the major drift spots
Its very dangerous to be out on the streets now days. But we keep the culture alive.
@ yea I kinda figured I also saw where they put speed bumps on a lot of the touge roads but glad to see yall still find a way I plan to go to Japan just to experience the car culture there I feel like they have the best authentic car culture. Also wanted to experience buying a car in Japan and getting work done from the legends had saved up for a GTT but I wind up getting a BMW G87 and modding it out instead but getting a GTT and converting it still on my bucket list I’m waiting on my passport to be approved then I can plan my trip
