Hello there can you give me name or reference numbers of two wera sets at 5:44?
Hello from Miami Florida USA! Thanks for sharing your video. Glad everything worked out.
You're a good people and thank's for visiting Indonesia. I subscribe You after we meet at Garahan. Enjoy your trip and I wish You succes to Australia. That's a good Ineos Grenadier i've seen before. Thank's for give me a chance to foto at cockpit of Your Grenadier...❤❤
Great video
Can you please tell me the name of the lights you have mounted on the side of the roof? And ideally, how you have attached them. Thank you!
Sorry I did put a link in there but UA-cam removed it. LA10526 Werklamp led, 24 W, 2.800 lm and mounted them with optical mirror mounts.
Tyre pressure low or not i think this truck is pushing 3300 kg with all the stuff in the back and on the roof (2900 empty something like that?). I can feel its heavy just by looking at it driving! Wonderful trip you guys are making and nice truck
Hey, are you the figure from West Kalimantan, Indonesia, who was hit by a police car yesterday?
Yes 😢
I am Hezkia who was last night when to go to Indonesia again yes

Gave film. Leuk om jullie volgen.
Heel Gaaf! Een droom reis. Doe voorzichtig en Enjoy!
Fantastic
Amazing!
Brilliant! Amazing trip…. With my grenadier camping I find that around 30-40% of the starter battery is being used up in one evening of just opening & closing the doors etc…. Have you overcome this? Thanks
Great enthusiasm for life , great couple, I wish you health and happiness In all, enjoy your epic journey ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
As this is an overland vehicle, did you consider buying the 2 seat version of the Grenadier?
@@davidkelly3779 this is the 2 seat (utility) version.
@@ExplorersOverland Very nice. Mine is also.
Oh forgot to mention- on steep downhills- low range and put it into manual selectable and select first gear. You shouldn’t need to use too much braking if you do this. If you are going too slow, just go into second gear, then if need to go slower, back to first, etc. Prevents problem you mentioned of brakes and tires getting hot and of catastrophic brake loss at the worst time.
Nice build and great trip. I offroaded and overlanded with a modified Land Rover LR4, similar size to the Grenadier. I’m now in a modified Jeep Gladiator with an Alucab canopy and RTT. I have some vids of it, particularly one showing it as I use it daily with my mountain bike and all the stuff for it inside. You get a lot more room for what you guys are doing with a mid-size (to use a USA term) pickup truck with either a canopy and RTT or a camper like the Alucab or GFC or similar. The bed is bigger than any SUV boot- it is about the same size as with the seats down in an SUV, but with a pickup you still have the back seats available for either seating or you can do a rear seat delete and use for more storage. Plus, because the sides open on a canopy or camper, you can pack from the sides and, if you get a canopy or certain campers that have M8 rails on the ceiling, you can pack from the top down too. So you have much better access to your stuff. Just a thought for the next build. But in the meantime, this one is great and you guys are really using it. Have fun out there. Maybe I’ll see you on the trails in the US. 🤙
@@dadventuretv2538 thanks for sharing!
Great video! Please share the spare wheel hardover details (size, etc.)? Is that from a defender's cover or Chelsea Truck cO.? Where did you purchase?? TY!
How did you straighten the front bar that you damaged? I thought it was all steel?
Just with a heat gun, because the Netherlands version (maybe whole EU?) the front bumpers are made of plastic. I was a bit surprised actually to see the steel versions in the Middle East.
What pressure did you put the tyres down to?
I can’t wait to see the part where you drive across the flaw of the ocean to get to Australia…! 😮😅
Be careful with that transmission valve underneath it, especially on the forest road with loose branches.
Great video. Thank you!
Great. We need more young pracmatic people like you.
How much did you pay for the complete setup?
@@SOKO-b8u too many;)
you guys are an amazing couple living life !
❤ Hi guys thank you so much for visiting Laos. You are warmly welcome! Today I saw your awesome car in a Nissan show room probably some maintenance? Any help feel free to ask. Hope you a have a great trip during your visit in Lao 😊😊😊😊
@@sanyalackped3759 thank you! We feel very welcomed in Laos. Haha nice spot! We were there because our friend’s car needed some maintenance. Thanks for the offer 🤙
Thanks for your video! We use our Grenadier (together with an offroad-trailer) as a overlanding rig as well. One question came to my mind immediately- what is the weight of your „ready-to-go-setup“ ?
3700kg incl. us.
Do you run a secondary fuel filter?
No, only two extra as spare part. And we use a Mr. Funnel fuel filter in some countries.
@@ExplorersOverlandso you did not have bad experience with lower quality diesel in some countries? I assume that in some countries the diesel is not rally ideal for modern diesel engines - that’s why many people when traveling with new cars they decide for a petroleum version. A few years ago I went to Ethiopia and the petrol sources from the black market was of higher quality than here in Europe. Enjoy the world.
@@patpie3703yes only in Iran and Pakistan. Some AddBlue errors showed up but no real problems. But I think you’re right, for some countries it’s better to have a Petroleum engine.
Very different. We prefer everything to have a space. Neat and tidy. Take a look as our build comes along. Wishing you good travels.
Awesome rig! Which water tank do you have? I’m curious which one fits well. Did you buy a system or make your own water pump set up?
We have the stainless steel water tank from Front Runner incl. pump.
Freaken Sick Sick Setup! Holy Smokes😯🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽
Great setup and what a long journey you are going. 😍 Did you do any changes to be prepared for the case of getting only bad quality diesel fuel? Like additional diesel filters and so on. And please some more videos from time to time! And please share the route you had taken, could be a great inspiration for other travellers.
In Iran and Pakistan where the diesel is really bad (and cheep) we used a micron fuel filter (Mr. Funnel) that removes water and debris from hydrocarbon. And we have 2 extra fuel filters of BMW as spare parts. Unfortunately we could’n remove the high sulfur that was in the diesel.
The route you can checkout at our website explorersoverland.com/xo
@@ExplorersOverland fantastic, thanks a lot 😍 and safe travels
zeer mooie build ! well done and happy travels.
Very nice video , and I love them energy system setup !
It was interesting to see how you set up your 4x4. I would like to build myself a 4x4 for weekend trips or for a week off from work. That's why I find videos like this very interesting. I didn't know the Ineos brand myself, it could be a kind of twin of the old Defender. I'll use Google to find out more about the car. Have a good trip and greetings from Norway.
Very nice car & setup! Have you guys checked how much the total weight of the complete roof setup is?
Think it’s around: Rack 49kg Tent 100kg Awning 30kg Shower 6kg Solar panel: 10kg ~200kg
Great video thank you for making it..! I have a Green Trialmaster in the UK with tent and bush co. awning. Trying to get it ready for adventure so yours is certainly inspiring me. Quick questions: The rear seats are deleted is that correct? Do you use the factory duel battery set up at all or have you ignored that to build your own Victron li-ion set up as shown in the rear? Finally - what are those little lights in the bumper they are amazing. Once again thanks for the walk around - amazing set up and what an adventure, very envious!
We have the utility version, this is the version without rear seats. And we use the dual battery system of the car only for lights and charging the camera. For all the other things we use the Victron set-up. In the end we could make more use of the battery system of the car since it’s 2x110aH. The orange lights in the rear bumper are Teralume X1 Work light Amber. Thank you and good luck with preparing/building your Grenadier!💪🏼
@@ExplorersOverland Thank you for the information :)
First reaction ❤
Never ever attempt a snatch recovery from the ball hitch, people have been killed from the ball getting ripped off and firing through the windscreen like s canon ball killing the driver. Your tyres still look over inflated for beach driving. Start with 16PSI and go as low as 8 or 6 if you need to get unstuck and reinflate to 16.
The line was attached to the U and not to the ball hitch itself. And you're right about the tyre pressure, we were a bit too excited by riding on the beach for the first time, inexperienced. After losing the Maxtrax we did deflate but not enough!
@@ExplorersOverlandgood on you for acknowledging you need to learn because a lot of people who watch these videos will offer you advice and help a lot especially if you show humility. With beach driving it’s always better to be overly cautious and take precautions by lowering tyre pressures which you can jump pump back up when you leave with a portable compressor. You may have been driving a bit too slow for that section of beach too. I bet that was stressful watching the water rise… 😅
@@mrdobalina3451 yes and thank you for the advise :)
Never done a lot of sand driving myself but tyre pressure is very important just watch trials cars. My Grenadier is very heavy so one of the first things I bought was an ARB portable twin compressor
Did you guys air down? It doesn't seem like it.
No we did not before entering the beach. After losing the Maxtrax we deflate a bit, but not enough!
That is painful to watch indeed, regardless of 4x4 vehicle , weight is a big factor here. Thanks for sharing
Beautiful trip you’re on. It looks like you got bogged in the sand because your tyre pressures were not low enough…and your vehicle looks heavy. Less is more. Less air on the beach and less gear. Safe travels 😊
That was painful to watch! The sand and then the accident. :/ Happy it all ended happy. :) Beautiful scenery!! Please give us a tour of how you organized your vehicle for overlanding, etc.!! 😊
In our next video we will give a full tour!

Would love to see how you organized the inside! I'd like to do what you are doing someday, and it's fun and interesting to see how others organize these sorts of things. Beautiful video; many congrats on your vehicle... which I love. 😊❤
