How much can we make when MSR is loaded with diamonds?
Hurry tha fuck up im not gunna watch you walk
heres a tip if you fly to Area 18 from OM3 you always are right above the spaceport but yes always due west of the massive tall building in area 18.
Yes of course.👍
Often learning how to use a tractor beam and asking if anyone needs a Reclaimer crewman is enough to make you big bux 👍
As a casual observer I wonder how far your body would splatter if that thing happened to go right through you. Probably not a good idea to have kids around.
Well, you probably won't feel anything. Never thought of that, though. I usually stay in the pits or close to the pilot but still Murphy's law.
Wow! How fun is that!
I’d guess about 200 mph
Not sure, but I'm was amazed how it handled all that force.
Kingtech.
70 lbs is actually very little.
It sounds a lot for me, lol!
what a sweet sound
Believe me, it's better in real life!
What’s the flight time on that thing?
It's not mine, but the guy said 5 min max depends on his throttle control.
Those turbines guzzle fuel.
@brianjebe7797 Yes, but these guys don't really care. They're in a different pay level, lol!
😂
Been here since 72 subscribers, huge fan!
Area 18 hangar is always directly due west from the area 18 chevron
Not sure if you know, but you can just jump up and climb to the second floor instead of waiting for the elevator
Yup, I just started doing it when I saw my son just jumped up a couple of weeks ago. I don't even use the elevator anymore, lol.
Did you buy it during ICYMI event? I did...but bit concerned a medium fighter only has 6 month insurance....and can't be used to upgrade, only melt credit. Bit rich at $260 war bond IMO...love how it fights, but you know it's gonna get nerf'd again.
Yes, I used my store credits. I didn't want to put out $250. It's crazy that I'm spending money on pixels, but I like what they are doing. I don't know how insurance is going to work, but it's nuts if they say we permanently lose our cash ships. They will lose valuable supporters if they do.
I would not have worried about being attacked by the Corsair as it is way too slow to catch the MSR. By the time you left the Armistice Zone, you would be out of gun range and a few seconds later you would be off his radar. On the other hand it was worth going somewhere else because he may have already bought up all the diamonds you wanted. TIP: when leaving the ship, lower the ramp but don't run out straight away. Wait until the 'Close' option appears, then press the button and run out before the ramp lifts. It reduces the risk of someone running in while you are trying to close the ramp from outside. TIP-2: to find the spaceport, fly to the marker. Then head 260 degrees (or. West is close enough) TIP-3: Don't keep pressing the door buttons as they open automatically plus don't use the elevator, just jump up and when you return you just drop down.
Thanks for the tip. The MSR could definitely outrun the Corsair. I guess I can be a bit paranoid with traiding.lol
@@rdloki3hey it's like what they say, better to be safe than sorry
I just wish the cities were actually fully populated, "alive". They look gorgeous from above, something very much what Earth will look like long, long after we're all dead. Also, the scaling of the planets isn't correct as you get closer to and closer to them and closer to the ground.
I would probably require alot of computing capability in our computer to manage all that. Probably not feasible for a common person like me.
external view / hold Z and you can look around as flying with a better view
Got it, ty!
While the marker from your Quantum drive is useful during the approach to an outpost, it also increases your EM signature. Depending on the ship you are flying, a powered Quantum drive can make you more visible to radar. In your case, with a larger ship like the Mercury Star Runner, it’s most often going to be the Cross-section of the ship which most influences the distance at which the enemy radar can detect you. The MSR, being wider than it is deep, will be slightly more visible to radars above and below. In the MSR your are going to be detected from a fair distance no matter what. But if you are ever flying a small ship, in an area you don’t trust, it’s good to try to manage your emissions. After turning off your Quantum drive you can watch your EM emissions gradually declining in real time. Sorry if you already know all this! While I have never done any trading myself, I happen to know that many pirates prefer to soft-death cargo ships a bit outside of atmo-so they don’t risk losing all that loot to gravity! If you are ever trying to escape an enemy it’s good practice to start spooling your quantum drive right before you leave atmo. Keep your ship pointed at a random jump point (a place you have no intention of going), then Jump the instant you are clear of atmo. If you cut your Quantum drive a few seconds after jumping (before reaching the destination) you will be basically impossible for them to find. Now you can jump to your true destination without all those mouth-breathers behind you!
Thanks! Great tip. I usually spool up and hit the closest marker and jump.😁
FYI, if you go into map, and pin the location again. It shows back up on the Hud. Whether you're in qt mode or not. So use that to ascertain distance from target on approach. Idk why they decided to make the course auto delete when you reach the destination
Run Beryl in the C2. That's about a 400k profit per run.
Hard to fill up with that. Everybody is just buying it.
@@rdloki3 MT SMO22-ORISON Never have any issues, no wait time, never see anyone over there.
@Vyndiktus definitely checking that place out.
My Favorite ship MSR and the cause of my heartbreak. Ill never get rid of her. Hopefully they give her a second exit as promised by John Crew. "It was a production oversight" - John Crew
It's a Great looking ship, but it takes a lot of crew to make it shine, plus data running is still not here.
A good watch and a great boat indeed. However, main gameplay loop for its specialisation still not implemented and all…those…doors 😅…👍🏾
Thank you!
You double clicking on ArcCorp.. fighting the starmap brought on some serious PTSD... lol
Map needs a little bit of polishing.
I find it safer to exit my MSR by closing the door from the inside panel then quickly running down and off the ramp, also you can scan the ships by pressing V the left click to see what they are without having to get so close.
Thanks! I will definitely try that out.
When looking for surface locations, it is better to go into 3rd person view "F4" and hold "Z" to look around to find it.
Huh, never tried that. Thanks!
Comes in handy when landing rather large boats at star ports too 👍🏾
Thanks for the video. I have both the MSR and C1. They are great fun. I've been teasing for in the C1. Issue is the everyone else is too. It makes 100k profit. Unfortunately trading is not very profitable on a consistent basis. Just a note in flying to Aera 18; it is easier to just find the icon on the planet instead of using the map. The main city has a unique icon.
You're welcome. That C1 is a great looking ship and very utilitarian IMO.
Once you get to know where stuff is, running deliveries and stuff, and grabbing cargo when you're nearby is great fun and a neat way to increase profits. It's by no means the beat way to make money. But it's a fun gameloop once you've established a base of knowledge
Same thing applies for ROC mining. One of my favorite ways to chill is taking investigations missions, and stopping to mine stuff I scan on the way to and from and investigation mission
Am a newbie learmed a lot thanks
Your welcome!
still prefer gold... margins are better with loads like my Carrack can carry... but damn the spawn rate at SMO18 is really slow since 3.22
I agree. Don't forget the drugs.
The real credits (as of Jan 2024) is in RMC from Hurston Settlements! About 300k per run for my MSR. Hit Pickers Field (My fav for the good landing spot outside the Scrap Hut) then take to Area 18. If you want to loop grab Scrap and take back to Settlement for a 6k profit. (Need about 1.3 mil to buy the RMC) Makes a nice easy run for the MSR. o7
Thanks. Good to know. I'm sure pirates are hanging out in that area.
I’ve watched hundreds of hours of videos on UA-cam about star citizen. It’s actually very hard to find a video that teaches you how to start trading. I’ve played the game on and off since 2019 I had no idea it was as simple as purchasing items on an outpost and selling it at a main cities TDD. So thank you so much for that!
You're welcome sir! Glad I can help.
@@rdloki3 just did my first successful space trucker haul of Larinite to Hurston TDD! In my titan. A wopping 8SCU for 3k profit 😂 bigger ship is probably needed to make the real space bucks
Yes the A2 will be your target ship for that. Currently it is the best and least buggy.
Once you get into it you'll be alright! Trust me I've just started Space Trucking too and I've make 1.3 mil so far starting from just 300k. Ofc I use the C2 though but start small and work your way up, that's the name of the game! GL out in the world of SC.
@@longjohnlongdong4692you can rent a Connie at all the main spaceports to get started
Glad you're back... still need to replace the battery on your smoke detector.
Lol... oops😂
Model plane
Yes sir
I have that plane. It flies nice!
It's my buddy's plane. He converted it to electric. He's in a rush to fly it😂
At least it happened on the ground 😀
A fantastic video of nothing but visible sky and annoying music. Couldn't see the plane at all.
Lol! I got alot of them.
😂 @ 80mm
That's why I won't buy a 650x... the garbage torque tube gears
That was pretty dope
Thanks man!
I need to flight test my V900.I had to add lead weight to the nose to get it to balance at the correct CG.
What battery are you using?
Yeah I took off the other day wirh SAFE on and was like wow she won't turn! Oh wait! It's Safe. Turned it off and was able to get her back. That V900 is very fast!!
Unfortunately, we weren't able to find the plane even with the drone. I guess it went further than where I thought it was or someone got a new plane or it's still there hiding in a bush.🤷
I absolutely hated launching this plane.... Broke the nose of on one of the throws because it cartwheeled. If I ever got another, I'd be making a catapult..
I discovered I could also launch it in safe better. I use left underhand throw it at least 45 degrees with a roll towards right 75% throttle. Don't be afraid to throw it hard with a roll to the right because motor is so strong it will just end level 99% of the time. Of course be ready to counter with right aileron using your right hand just in case.
Good try... closer next time 😉
I don't want to die😂
Woow...super power
Ty
Pretty cool maiden flight...
Ty!
5 days to assemble??? Crazy! Don't forget to change the battery on your smoke detector.
I assembled it overnight. Just finished setup and programming plus wiring in 5 days because of work.
The Mig-29 is a beast I Will definently buy one when I begin with collecting
Nice save.
Thanks man!
Wooow nice take up
Ty sir!
I read through the comments and even if you shrink-wrap them I think you should probably change the connector brand. They should naturally be snug and actually difficult to come apart by hand. WIth the heat of the current passing through it you want something that is tight from the start.
Good advice! Makes sense. Ty will do.
