I love the canal. It's a place you really have to earn your stripes learning how to jig and read the currents. It's not a matter of high tide vs low tide. Rather, the balance of tides between each end. Even the gear required is unique to the canal. Anyone who has gone through it knows you are going to lose a few hundred dollars worth of gear before getting the hang of it.
Lake Eaton is a great fishery. I have 4 salmon on the wall out of that lake. Nice video.

Nice vid. Just a word of caution. I wouldn’t be casting over peoples heads or drifting your braided line over their gear or faces. Get down in the water. The access there is a privilege but not guaranteed.

Some popular places are the Bell Road Railroad bridge (where this was), Bourne Bridge either side, Sagamore Bridge either side, and the Rec area across from Bell Road. They should be listed on google earth and online. Tight Lines -Tyler
