      Thank you so much for this helpful feedback! 🤗I really appreciate your suggestion on rehearsing-I’m definitely not a natural orator, more of an introverted writer, so talking-head videos are out of my comfort zone. Practicing more beforehand definitely seems like it would make a big difference. Your support and encouragement mean a lot as I learn and improve 🌱, and I’m grateful to have viewers like you along for this journey! All the best to you as well, and thanks again for the kind words!

    Make sure your end screen is only 1 video and play it for 10 seconds max. This will create fomo and if they miss it they have to rewind and you'll get a little more watchtime

      @@simplyambermarieThat’s great to hear! I’ve never been that into posting mainly due to the negativity that people can bring online. Have you had much and if so does it detract from the joy of your hobby ?

    • @simplyambermarie
      @simplyambermarie 2 місяці тому

      @@_JR2022 Yeah, I‘ve totally had some experience with negativity, and it can detract from the joy of creating content - when I’ve allowed it to. In my 9 years of posting content for YT, I’ve mostly had more inappropriate remarks than generally negative. I wish I would’ve learned sooner that you’ve got to train people how to treat you on this platform (and in life). Now, I don’t hesitate to delete the comments that I don’t feel comfortable with or are meant to slight me or anyone in my community. (I’ve also had to block certain words and phrases.) I’ll usually give negative commenters a couple of chances before I completely block them, but I haven’t had to go that far too often and not in a very long time. I understand that they’re just people, too, and they may’ve been having a bad day, or maybe I misunderstood them. (I, personally, find it hard sometimes to understand tone on a critical comment, especially if they’re not using proper punctuation or grammar, and I can’t see them to read their face or body language, ahhh!) If a commenter is getting me down, I’ll give it some time to understand it from all perspectives; if their words are still bothering me after I’ve made sure it’s not just me being a drama queen and taking it the wrong way, I’ll go ahead and just delete it. Basically, have zero tolerance for negativity (in a constructive way, of course), focus on the positives of YT (like all the people you might be helping, encouraging, or inspiring!), and you’ll be totally fine!

    • @_JR2022
      @_JR2022 2 місяці тому

      @@simplyambermarie thank you for your advice, really appreciate it. By inappropriate comments do u mean regarding video content quality as I don’t have much of a set up and would probably be an easy target for poor video quality etc.

    • @simplyambermarie
      @simplyambermarie 2 місяці тому

      @@_JR2022 Any time! 🤗I love people and helping in whatever way I can. By inappropriate, I mean raunchy comments. Your video quality doesn’t really matter as much as your audio quality. I’ve never invested in a camera. I’m still using my smart phone after all this time, upgraded over the years as they’ve broke/died on me. I’ve always used a free video editor, starting with the YT video editor back when they had a more comprehensive one, then the video editors that’ve come with my laptops after UA-cam removed theirs. I’ve never had special lighting (unless you count my ring light/tripod combo that I had several years ago, but the light broke maybe less than a year after I got it, and I never replaced it). I have had a few different tripods over the years, and voice recorders. My voice recorder that I’ve had for the last 4 years did finally die on me recently, and I tried to replace it with a cheap one. Nope, the audio quality sucked, so now I’m going to have to return that, and get a new one when I’m not so broke, ha! So, I’ve been using my phone camera to record audio lately (it’s good enough for now - way better than my new voice recorder, anyway). But, the setup doesn’t really matter, as long as your audio quality is decent. My best advice is to just start and work with what you’ve got, and you can slowly improve your setup with each video you create; slow and steady wins the race, in spite of any negative feedback about your setup that you may or may not receive.

    You are hypercritical of yourself! Screaming fighting children will grow up to be screaming, fighting adults. My heart is praying for you! Is your husband teaching them at all? Surely you know that God loves you and he doesn't want you to suffer any more. I'm sorry you wwere raised so overly strict. God loves you, and You have touched my heart. I see how humble you are and what you are trying to do. God Bless You. And rescue you now. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

    You are far from a failure. You are deeply loved by God.

    You are God-loved! Maybe your husband can make the children understand 1. There will be help to Momma from now on, and 2. There will absolutely no more fighting in this home. Fight and you are separated for a short time! And you will help your mama. Here is your routine... they are supposed to help you, gentle soul... may the Lord bless you and help you. In Jesus Name. Amen.
