Nope, Nothing resolved. And Sony ghosting me for a while.

The Sony TV features a specific 3.5mm jack input, marked as "S-Center Speaker IN," which I've connected to the soundbar's "S-Center OUT" 3.5mm jack. Thanks for your comment. That's the exact setup I'm using. It's the use of the TV in center speaker mode that's causing the whistling sound. Picture-in-Reality is just the trademark for this technology. The issue, which Sony has acknowledged as a technical problem, is how the soundbar manages the central channel. It essentially cranks up the TV volume to the max to control the TV's volume through the soundbar's channel. Driving the TV to maximum volume is what's causing the whistling.

Check out any other Sony’s OLED, it will knock down the blooming. But the brightness of Mini-LED is unreachable with OLED nowadays. As for the hissing - it is definitely a fault.

@@ghDmitry agreed it is a fault however, I hear it's the motherboard they used on this generation... So I either wait two months for Sony to replace it.. Hopefully.. or take it back now and hopefully get one with a new motherboard... Which I probably won't.. Or get one with the same motherboard and it doesn't hiss until the warranty is out and then I'm stuck. Regardless, the bloom and color saturation is horrible. Sony Bravia is not what it used to be. My other two Sony TVs blow this one out of the water. It's like they're forcing you to OLED... Which I did my research and a lot of people are having hissing from them too... My tv says made in Mexico... My old ones do not say that... Garbage. Skipping Sony this generation.

@@ghDmitry Ok. Thank you for answer. The best way will be if i'll buy soundbar Sony HT-A5000, connect it and then check about that whistling. Maybe my TV is free of that hiss. I have no problem to get it back to shop. I have for that 14 days. If it will be verry loud but overal sound from soundbar will be good for me i will change mother board. But if it will be only little hearing i will give up for now. I have long guarantee for my Sony so i have many time for fix it. The most important for me is that if i will watch TV, listen music not enough loud i don't want to hear that hiss. If that hiss is only then when TV is out of music or TV not play any movie it is acceptably for me.

​@@ghDmitry Bro. I saw on youtube soundbar like Sonos Arc. I started read about it on web and i am full of admiration about Sonos. But to hear sets like: Sonos Arc + subwoofer is almost imposible in my town (no stuff in shops). But i heard HT-A3000 and A5000 + subwoofer SW3 and it sounded awesome. And the price because it is verry important. HT-A3000 (alone 526 euro) + subwoofer SW3 = 875 euro, HT-A5000 (alone 943 euro) + subwoofer SW3 = 1293 euro, Sonos Arc - alone = 1033 euro with subwoofer SUB Gen 3 = 1869 euro. I have read that Sonos Arc is great even without subwoofer. I have living room with opened kitchen = 24 m2. It is not big soo i am thinking what will be the best. I'm even letting go that sync Sony's soundbar with central speaker from TV. I know it should be sync but... Even with out that speaker i think it is quite good. The point is what config will be the best for my living room. Thank you for any answer.

Not at all, there hasn't been any improvement. I still run my HT-A5000 with the Central Speaker turned off. It appears to be a hardware issue in the TV itself, affecting a wide range of Sony TV models. My guess is that they will focus on addressing this issue in newer models while potentially overlooking or only partially addressing the concerns raised by a smaller group of users who rely on Central Speaker mode.

@@janph76 There hasn't been much progress over the last 6 months, so I don't anticipate any changes, especially since Sony typically presents their new lineup in March-April, and this issue pertains to a previous model now. I've heard many positive recommendations for the Sonos Arc, so you might want to give it a try.

Я ни разу не смотрел ни один фильм громкости выше 30. Обычно на 22-24. Из 100% (ну или хз сколько там максимум). Никогда не было нужды делать его громче, очень хватает громкости для повседневного просмотра. Поэтому не думаю, что это показатель, за которым стоит гнаться.

Я взял его за 130 баксов. И считаю его мусором. На тысячу долларов он точно не звучит. Встроенные сабвуферы не ощущаются. Мой предыдущий саундбар за 10 долларов с ебеЯ звучал не намного хуже). Короче факт что Сони своих денег не стоит .

@wilson it goes away after awhile, 5-7 seconds and it is gone. For me it occurs from zero to 3 time while watching the movie. But always and mainly at the moment of switching the content.

I have an A80J + A3000 and same thing, totally busted. Really annoying as it’s the main reason I went with a Sony soundbar.

@@ghDmitry I have both the A80J and A3000 listed for sale. I gave them another chance after the X900H hdmi 2.1 issues and they screwed me again. Gonna buy an LG C2 and Sonos Beam.

I think it’s more than just a volume issue. Maybe majority is bad grounding. I even Jerry rigged mine just to check (soundbar out to dummy, another av device to a center, adjust volume, trick it to to allow the center speaker setting to enable. Same thing constant hiss regardless of volume changes from av device. I’m sure people results may vary but I don’t think software update alone with fix the issue. Mine even have issue where if the s center sync cable is in, and u disable the center setting and turn off soundbar, I get like 10% volume. Meaning turning it off still issue there until u physically remove the cable as well even if settings are set to off. QA team, u had one job guys. Seriously

Hey, there was no a problem. The video is about the correct idle rpm’s for VQ35DE. It should be 650, not lower nor higher. This is how it should look if engines works correctly. Video was recorded after adaptation of throttle valve at dealership, replacement of MAF sensors, oxygen sensors and PVC valve.

@yubman, the problem with the noise isolator/filter that it cuts out your central speaker channel. Thus, it practically equal to turning it off.

Поэтому я делаю вывод что просто кривое программное обеспечение. И нужно ждать обновления(

@@Akmerock красавчик! Рад, что удалось поменять. Мне сказали что «проблем нет» 😅 Кажется что это софтверная проблема, но некоторым меняют плату и у них уходит. Но я так и не получил ответа, у них уходит просто константное шипение или такой же свист как у меня на видео. Я пока что думаю о том, чтобы вернуть soundbar и купить вместо него Sonos Arc. В сонос нет централ-спикер режима, но и в текущем сетапе он не работает для меня. А так сонос дает лучшее звучание (по отзывам). Но честно, Сони меня прям разочаровали. Кстати, они вчера анонс делали на youtube новых технологий, и там в итоге отключили комментарии. Потому что люди стали спрашивать когда они пофиксают всякие разные проблемы, у каждого свои. Что говорит о том, что общее качество продуктов у Сони очень упало :(

@@ghDmitry я саундбар подключал к a80j 2021 года олед, на нем не было никакого шипения. Так что нужно ждать нормальной обновы для телика может они android 12 сделают уже. А то уже 13 вышел а мы всё на 10 сидим)

Я вас правильно понял когда вы включаете связку между саундбаром и колонками тв начинается шипение это белые шумы вроде бы появляются когда например сидишь в наушниках без звука а уши шипят так вот если это из-за включения функции для связки колонок тв и саундбара то на rtings говорили лучше не включать эту функцию а то звук будет хуже

@@eark6292 нет. Не это белый шум. У меня есть характерный свист, длящийся первые 5-7 секунд при смене контента или переключениях экрана. Технари из Сони объяснили, что в режиме связки телевизор повышает громкость до максимума, а уровнем сигнала начинает управлять колонка. И вот этот момент «выкручивания» на максимум и отдается свистом. Это не белый шум, а именно свист, который уходит через 5-7 секунд.

Indeed. But Sony support told me that it’s not an issue at all, it works according to tech norms. There are no follow up actions for X95K, thus no refund, no replacement, no fixes, bye.

Do you mean 3.5mm to 3.5mm Jack audio cable? Initially I used the cable included in the box. After first call to Sony support they recommended me to replace it with a premium one, which was a Insignia audio cable from Best Buy.

It is way way better that the TV speakers itself. Sound is pretty juicy, deep and and bassy. I didn't even expect that much bass from it. Overall it is very good. and even gives this kind of `surround` sound, but you need a rear speakers to get it all. The reason to buy Sony sounbar over Sonos Arc were the central speaker mode and hdmi 2.1 passthrough. Central speaker is bummer, as you may see. Now, I would rather buy Sonos Arc. It can be found even cheaper sometimes, and have a better reviews overall (but no central speaker and passthrough. Passthrough was actually a second fail. I've plugged Apple TV 4K 2022 into it, and TV can't show it in dolby vision mode. Only 4k. But dolby vision works for Apple TV when i plug it directly into the TV. Bummer #2

@@ghDmitry как я понял ты взял из-за связки тв и саундбара из-за функции которая использует колонки тв в связке с саундбаром если почитать тесты rtingsони не советуют включать эту функцию говорят звук становится хуже

@@ghDmitry если ты взял HT-A5000 или 7000 это надо сделать с расчетом что ты потом будешь брать колонки sa-rs5 тогда они покрывают ущербный объемный звук а если ты не планируешь брать эти колонки тогда лучше взять этот sonos arc или Bose 900 потому что объемный звук без задних колонок говорят у них лучше чем у сони но басс вроде бы хуже чем у сони

@@eark6292 да, взял именно из-за связки и этой функции. Оказалось, что она имеет этот уходящий свист. Сони говорит что разбирается еще с решением. Но в целом да, план был дополнить колонками задними и сабом.

Bro. You don't understand a80k, x90k, x95k have center speaker sync issues producing hissing noise . It not sound bar fault. I checked more tv a80k, x90k, x95k it producing noise but a95k, a80j, a90j not producing noise it works fine. So it is a issue in tv not sound bar. If you want to get solution need repair, software update your tv.

@@ghDmitry no bro. It is tv center speaker sync problem. Sound bar is fine. It is tv fault. All sony tv have this same issue except a95k.

Tv issue. Sound bar is good. If you connect with some other model you will face the same interface problem. Tv software issue

Agree, absolute fault from Sony side. I’ve raised the support request, send this recoding to the tech team, and they told me that “there is no issue. It works as it should, and this is the norms of specification. And there is no any action items in there internal program for my X95K TV”. Replace? - no, since Sony don’t see issues. Refund - no, since Sony don’t see issue.
