@@omegALPHA_282 hahaa yea the videos are really delayed. I typically beat several monsters per session so my gear/tactics don’t evolve between some videos. As for the layered armor I like the more uniform look of the direwolf set and I don’t have any other sets as of now

Thanks for all the tips again, I'm slowly trying to incorporate all these tips into my gameplay (although my videos are delayed so you won't see it right away lol). In later fights I have started to try to tenderize and use the sword more but it's definitely a learning process! Haven't looked into the mantles though so I will work on that, thanks!

@@Pearebusno problem mantles are pretty good, for example yeah temporal is pretty op allowing you to not get hit but theres mantles like the evasion mantle for example that grants you à 20% damage increase if you manage to i-frame an attack (hard to do with Switch axe tho because our sidestep only have half the immunity). I look forward to seeing your progress (also if you did not know, if the sword is charged and you grab onto the Monster you can press both the right and left button to perform the zero sum discharge, a very cool and powerfull move of the Switch axe)

You're probably right about playing it like dark souls, guess I'm too used to that genre of games. Thanks for the tips I'll try to incorporate them into my gameplay!

​@@Pearebusoh, well everyone has something they love but I still think you should at least be using the sword mode to charge the "Amped" gauge like this your axe will deal higher damages Also I recommand giving a try to the charge blade, it starts out as a sword with a shield but when quickly charged you can go and transform them into a massive axe to either deal massive damage like a chainsaw or use a massive attack for huge damage

@@omegALPHA_282 Didn't realize the amped damage affects the axe mode too, thanks for the tip! Also, I was considering the charge blade but since this is my first time playing a Monster Hunter game, I thought that was too complex, but I'll give it a try later. Thanks for the info!

@@Pearebus yeah the Amped mode affects the axe for example you could KO and Tire monsters like a hammer with an exhaust phial Switch axe As for charge blade Its not as hard as other makes it to be I actually find it moderately easy to get into, but its one of the hardest weapon to completely master due to all its mechanics

Haha I know what you mean, I ended up with a hybrid build where I had one quickhack that had a reduced cost everytime I did a melee finisher... I would throw a knife, dash in for the finisher, dash out, then quick hack the rest of their hp.

It's even worse with the fire damage change

I think the main racing missions have a lot of people at the end, but the repeatable races dont. Although I haven't played the main races in a long time so not too certain
