What Type of Surgery Did this Patient Undergo ??? This patient underwent an ACL reconstruction about 20 years ago. She has Karasaka screws which were used back then to hold the graft in place. She had a bone patellar bone graft. She’s gone onto develop post traumatic arthritis involving the knee which happens 85% of the patient to have an ACL injury within five years. #nursepractitioner #nurs...

Osteochondritis dissecans it’s a condition that primarily affects males between the ages of 10 and 15. We believe it’s micro trauma. Most commonly in the knee, elbow and ankle. Shin Splints vs Tibial Stress Fracture
Shittt! I have a torn achilis. Just joking. I used to but my achilis has not returned to its normal state and when i try this method on my other foot it works better then on the tendent that got hurt
is that true with a stainless steel plate in the jaw with screws?
The incredible floral pants distracted me..😊
Thanks a lot. Learning a lot from your video
Oh Sht
That outfit is too cute 🥰
Ur fashion is a very fun fact...love it❤
Thank You!
Doctor does the shoulder labrum heal on its own , he said i need 4 sutures
What happens when you don't treat the Achilles ?
I just joined the broken collarbone club. Thanks for this helpful video!!
Thanks Doc .. very informative By the way Nice dress
Thank you for that explanation
What is the treatment
Question can it heal by its own though?
I got my achilles torn when my ankle caught in my crf450 chain, that was known as the lesser injury because i broke my shin bone and dislocated my hip too, all of the fun with torn achilles is the 2 month recovery process because one miss timed step and it resets the injury
What a dress
Excellent work 🎉
Does the hole indicate a full rupture, or can the hole exist on partial tears too?
Wow, as a med student with a passion for orthopedics, these videos are like gold to me! Please don’t stop posting!
Good job
How long NPO last
I'm having surgery to repair 3 completely torn tendons. The labium is also torn and will have to be cleaned up. i cannot lift my arm and it's been 2 weeks since I had an accident. This is going to be fun..😒
Promo SM 🙈
This was very helpful. I am having this procedure done on the 18th and am doing my research on what to expect pre and post surgery. Thank you for creating this video!
Awsome video!
Nope no arm block for me. O2 sat 66, so I couldn’t get the block. Anesthesia made me so sick I was in the hospital 4 days. 6 weeks post op now. Recovery is long. Not everyone is the same.
No block for me either because I had some scarring in the left lung and it was a left shoulder repair. Too great a risk of complication. Also an RN (retired).
Very informative.. Really like all your orthopedic education content.
Thank you so much for this video. I'm going to have my shoulder surgery next week and I'm sooooo nervous
I'm having mine tomorrow.....how was your recovery?
@smoketalktv4541 well on Monday I'll be at 5 weeks post op. So far so good. Physical therapist said today that I'm right on track with the plan they've set out. Stay on top of the pain meds but don't get to dependent. They will most likely cut you off at around 5-6 weeks post op. Would suck to go through withdrawals with an incision. Best of luck to you and here's to a speedy recovery.
@kevinfoster4116 thanks brother 🙏🏾
I heard a little exercise goes a long way
OK, but if you remove the bone spurs can you get your range of motion back until new bone spurs form?
Thanks for explaining so well.Appreciated.
Great case. Thanks Dr Stacy
"Promo SM" ☹️
does NOT work !!!!!!
Your Outfit 🔥 very nice put together
Or u could tell by them screaming
Fuck I broke my right one
Great information. Have you ever sprained your ankle??
Calf? Those were cankles.
Thank u doctor. I just found out that I have bone spurs in my left knee amd joint effusion in my other knee. I've heard of surgery is the way to get rid of bone spurs. Is that true ?
Длина иголки маленькая , препараты не дойдет до сустава , останется в теле Гоффа
You got that shi on auntie
I thought the area needed to be aseptically scrubbed to avoid introducing bacteria into the joint cavity.
Fascinating 🤔 also i love her style.
This is a very well made video. (But you might want to add a disclaimer about not doing this to yourself as it’s unfortunately common for people to inject painkillers then get a serious infection in their knee because they didn’t sterilize properly)
You probably already take it as a given as your formally trained lol
