    In 2026, the new lines 4, 5 and 6 of the metro will be ready, 6 and 4 will be monorail, and 5 will be a DRT. I hope that in the future you make a video of that 😊✌👍

    Yellow line needs an extension (only 3 stations is ridiculous and Longueuil deserve better), Orange line towards Bois-Franc (even maybe to Laval) Blue line to NDG (a MTL-Ouest station would be perfect) Green line to Lachine So much potential but stupid bureaucracy and nonsense politics is killing it, to think the blue line gets its first extension in 50 years Smh

    I love how eco-friendly and progressive the government of Ethiopia is prioritizing railway networks and as of 2024? Immediately banning the import of fossil fuel cars. Trains, EV's or bust is the official government line. Now that's progressive!

    There's also a South LRT line extension that's now under way to Deroshiers which was to the be the site of a new South Edmonton Hospital and Trauma Centre but the UCP government has scrapped it... Sorry "paused" it while ignoring the needs of the fastest growing and youngest part of the city. And you wonder why their shut out politically in the city..     Great video! I'd love an addendum video that shows where the old Edmonton Radial Railway used to run. At its height in 1920 it had 92 km of track in a city with only 40,000 people or so at the time... Mind-blowing to think but then again there weren't the alternatives we have today...       Chinese metro expansion is absolutely crazy. I do wonder how long such expansion can last though. (I've done research into a bunch of cities, and some cities - Shenzhen, Beijing, and Shanghai especially are levelling off, and others aren't)

    Some of these routes are getting built (Eglinton line as a LRT from Renforth to Kennedy Station, Ontario line from Eglinton/Don Mills to Exhibition Place, Finch West LRT from Finch West Station to Humber College etc) and some of them got built in our timeline (SRT to Mccowan which closed in 2023, Bloor Danforth line, YUS line but to Vaughan etc) I would have extended the Bloor Danforth line to Sherway Gardens (East Mall and Sherway would be the stations) and extended the Yonge University Spadina line to Vaughan (Downsview would have stayed as Downsview, the other stations would have been Sheppard West, Finch West, York University, Steeles West, Highway 407 and Vaughan Centre, the current name of the real Vaughan station is too long for me to attempt to pronounce) and would have extended the Bloor Danforth line (it is getting extended by 3 stations in real life) to Scarborough Centre with stations at Danforth at Eglinton/Danforth, Lawrence East at Mccowan and Lawrence and Scarborough Centre at Mccowan and Ellesmere) The SRT would have been able to stay open longer (at least until the Bloor Danforth extension which is under construction in real life is finished and open) had they done a better job taking care of it I wish the idiots at City Hall would have got along so we would have some of the routes built by now but despite that, I love your video

    Good morning from New York! I noticed that the A/Caracas corridor was opened in 2000, but the gap wasn't filled until 2017. Is there any reason why this may have been the case? Do you know if there was any infrastructure at all in between Jimenez and 63rd Street?? Thank you!

      Hello! In reality, the Caracas line was always connected, it is a mistake, since in WIkipedia it appears that they have been there since 2017, however, all of those stations have been there since 2000.

    And now nothing happens after 2010, Munich U-Bahn and S-Bahn transport became very nice new trains (S-Bahn trains were modernized) but there aren‘t any extensions on the Subway, the next extensions will be the one to Martinried and to Pasing but they won‘t happen in the next year. :(

      There is a slight chance of them building the U9 and its counterpart for the U2 as well as the MVG extending the U4 to engelschalking and blumau respectively. The U5 will most likely be extended to freiham as soon as pasing finishes heavy construction. They are building the second Sbahn core line with the possibility of a junction under maximilian park routing core like trains to the south. If they don’t come around building the U9, poccistraße would be completely rebuilt, due to it being structurally unstable. Odeonsplatz and hauptbahnhof will be upgraded and partly rebuilt. Theresienwiese, providing the U9 doesnt get built, could be expanded to a 4 track station and lots of other stations are getting rebuilt or renovated for all sorts of reasons :)

      @@Direction-North Americans cannot distinguish simple things. To boost their own ego, they call tram systems "metro", even though it has almost nothing to do with the metro. Besides, the term "light rail" is very general and covers: trams, premetro, metro and even standard rail... Actually this term mean nothing - is not precision.

Practically everyone writes incorrectly - they focus only on the definition, not paying attention to other things that are also important but not mentioned, or they do not understand the definition at all and interpret it in their own way. Streetcar= tram, light metro=metro, light rail=every tram, light metro, and some conventional rail, even people mover too...
