@@glenford4527 yeah I see your line of thinking buddy. I'm not 100% on the Victoptics yet, it'll take a few months I guess of testing to see how it holds up. I honestly expected it to fail today, but 300 plus rounds down range and everything working as it should. A 13mm group (covered easily by a 5p) is pretty impressive at 40m especially with a brand new gun so I'm not sure wether a scope change would've tightened the groups more. However only one way to be sure and that's to do it again with the Hawke on board 😉👍👍👍👍

Great film clip Vin. Could you do a film clip on cleaning the barrel? I have never cleaned the barrel on my HW57 (not had to), but from what I have heard, you can remove the pop-up breach for cleaning.

Great gun! I live in the US and mine is a .22 FAC and I put a Williams receiver sight with an adjustable diopter on it. With the sight mounted all the way to the rear it gives a huge sight radius, and the adjustable diopter allow me to make adjustment for different light conditions. It is an absolute tack driver. So I have to be alert everywhere I go trying not to be seen cause people are so nosy. Most of the time I have to shoot out of my truck so I'm not seen. Good advice vin but one thing you left out , when you get a good permission the best way to shoot it is on your own . I’ve had experience myself where I have tried to help someone to get experience shooting and taken them with me and the next thing you know they’ve gone to your permission without you and asked the farmer also for permission and because he’s your friend the farmer agrees , you then realise all the rabbits are being shot when you’re not there . I know plenty shooters who have made the same mistake and have also lost permissions because of there guests shooting something they had no permission to shoot. So I prefer to shoot alone and you always shoot more when You’re on your own .

Two excellent rifles - choose the HW77 and save 200 qiud!

Totally agree with you Vin. Should not shoot live quarry at ridiculous distances with sub 12 ft/lb rifles Yet I have see many Brit UA-cam vids of irresponcible types that do, and they claim it is 12 ft/lbs which I find dubious. At the end of the day it can be cruel.

Makes a refreshing change to watch an honest review these days, so many cheaters out there.
