FishIng Vlogs & chasing pelagics
This is a reason why you should not do shore jigging off the cliffs | Fishing Vlog
Winter has kicked in Sydney and there has been less activity from pelagic fishes. However, in this session there were crazy actions by pelagics chasing fast jiggs. I was shore jigging off the cliff and managed to hook up some decent fishes. Unfortunately, I was not able land any fish but what a mental session it was with so much bust ups! I realised how hard it was to land the fish off the cliff! The format of the video is a fishing vlog on the ledge and harbour covering some important tips and fun episodes I had during my fishing adventures!
Hope you guys enjoy the video!

The Bonito season has almost come to an end! | Fishing Vlog
Переглядів 2,9 тис.8 місяців тому
In today’s video, I went out on the ledge to catch Australian Bonito in sydney rocks. The bonito season ends around April and this video is dedicated to catch some decent bonitos off the rocks. Although bonito are present almost all year round in Australia , missing warmer water season would not provide much bonito actions with lures. Despite the strong swell, I managed to catch some small and ...

I came back to Australia last week missing all good pelagic fishing season. In today’s video, I went out on the ledge with my mate, David to catch pelagic in sydney rocks. Despite the strong wind and swell, we managed to catch some big fish by shore jigging. The format of the video is a vlog of fishing on the ledge covering some important tips and knowledge I earned from my past experiences. Ho...
Glow Jigs Catches the Fish! | Fishing Vlog

In today’s video, I went to Avoca Beach to do shore jigging! The tide, wind, and swell were perfect conditions to fish at the ledge, and within this blessed condition, I was able to catch Australian Salmon and Bonito. I also tried a bit of isofishing to catch Blackfish and Drummers, but I had no luck with it. Avoca is one of the popular fishing spots for both bait and lure fishing. In this vide...

Winter has officially started in Australia and my University exams finally comes to the end! I went to Blues Point Reserve and jigged about 3 hours. Could not catch anything until Suns up and I was able to catch small kingfish at last minute..! I am happy to present pelagic fish in my first ever video! 너무 아깝다😢
Uhrm mate im not a pro myself but just tip of advice maybe let them drag on and fight first before reeling it in very fast cuz thats what I usually see and what some advice that I got from fishing yea! This was a great fishing vid to watch too haha I had multiple encounters like this as well! Goodluck next time and dont stop reelig cheers mate!
Thanks for the advice! Yeah I should have gave it a more fight before reeling them! Thanks for watching:)
it probably a needle fish it is so hard to stay on the hooks
It was actually tailor and sambo we saw them jumping and the hook pulled out as soon as jumped out of surface!
Nice vid keep the uploads up🙌🏽
Thank you for watching ! I will try to upload as much as I can:)
i see alot of drummer fishers on your right for the white water sometimes. how do you find this ledge compared to other northern beaches? is it snaggy? i only ever washed fish here for bream/trev
The spot is famous for blackfish and drummer as it consists of some good white washes that these fishes favoured. I am not sure what kind of fisher you are but for lures and shore jigging wise I would not go here as it is super shallow and snaggy at the bottom. I would rather go different spot in northern beaches if you want to use lures. But if you are not targeting pelagic fish, this spot can produce good fishes using baits. Hope this helps!

Niceee, what pound leader are you running?
I think I was using 20lb fl leader with Pe 1.5!
@@Mulgoni thanks so much😁

How do you rate the Nessa Rod? What can that model (MH) comfortably cast?
To be honest, its not 100% made for fishing at the rocks. Nessa’s adventage comes from convenience, lightness and easy to carry as its 3 piece rod. It is essentially made for light shore jigging and more like harbour setting. If you planning to fish at the ledges, I personally don’t recommend this rod. However, nessa itself is a great rod I have been used past two years and never disappointed me with catching bigger fishes. It is strong, light, and durable. It is great option for price as well. My nessa is MH+ which can comfortably cast up to 60g jiggs and 50g plugs. Hope this helps!
Nice video❤ Is it difficult to catch fish with lure (shore jigging) when the summer season ends? What kind of fish can anglers target for during autumn/winter? Thank you so much 🙌🏽
It is not impossible to catch pelagic fish with the lure in winter, but their activity goes really low and prefers bait in the colder water. You still can catch with lures but you won’t see a lot of fishes. During the winter season I like to do drummer and black fish (luderick) on the rocks or tailors with lures as tailors are more frequently caught during the winter season! If you are big fan of lure fishing maybe wait till tailor seasons to come!
Where is the exact location mate. I m intrested.
Hi, I’ve been receiving a lot of feedbacks from locals which they were not happy with revealing the spots as it gets too crowded and people fishing on the rocks without the safety gears. I respect the locals opinions and their fishing spots. I am sorry I can’t tell you the exact spot but, it is one of the rocks near palm beach in northern beaches!
never seen that ledge so empty in ages!
Are ya winning son?
Yes appa!!
Great video, When is the Kingie peak season you think? And how do you cook and eat the bonnies?
From my past experiences, small rat can be caught any time of the year with baits. However, if you want to use lure, use them during summer months, early November to April for maximum possibility catching big kingie! For the method I cook bonnies, I either pan fry with salt, herbs and lemons or have as sashimi tataki (grill the skin)! Hope this helps!
@@Mulgoni That’s awesome. Looking forward to your next video. Cheers,
March is prime time for decent kings, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. They are also huge in winter but very rare to come across.
If your after a kingfish to take home, don't even bother in december and january. Too many undersized (rats) fish.
That's what I call a splash of luck! Here's to more epic catches and hopefully drier adventures ahead! stay safe always brother! 🙌
Thank you Indo! Bonnie season is one of my favourite time of the year! They always gives enjoyable fights! Btw I really enjoy watching your videos! Keep up the good works:)
Nice spot 👍🏼
It is a beautiful spot catching heaps of fish! Thank you for watching..!
Isnt bonito season just
The season started November and officially ends in April I believe. But they should be there anytime of the year but not as much as the season
I caught a 67cm bonito once off of Wollongong, was a great fight had me convinced it was a kingy the whole time!
Can you give me address
Good spot for shore jigging mate. 🤙
Wow, Heavy minnow is amazing!
Wow~ amazing 👍
The best ever I've seen ❤❤
Where abouts is this location if you don’t mind dislosing
Northern beach that's all I can disclose it's up to the owner of this video to disclose of this Great location if he wants.
Nice vid, last week I got a 62cm one😊
Missed you!
this is literaly the best fishing video i've seen so far, clearly explaining which gear your using with photo's and everything. Showing the exact location, giving some safety tips for rockfishing. just great!!
I’m hoping to catch a kingie before I leave Australia in December, any tips?
Sorry for late reply! Some tips I can give you are try early morning like sunrise and use small profile jiggs or lures as kings around harbour in these time of season are quiet small! Good luck mate!
😂 & that's why we call it fishing & not catching, NO guarantees 🤣😭
May I ask what is the jig around 7 mins. Ths
It is palms hexer b jig glow pink 40g! One of my favourite surf jigs:)
@@Mulgoni ths very much
Making Avoca ledges so accessible was a huge mistake, constantly overfished by people with little to no regards for the environment, other fishermen or their own personal safety.. Learn to swim, learn the rules and learn some respect
I do agree with you. Some fishermen in Avoca have no awareness on their own safety and do not care the environment. I seen people not wearing any safety gears and risking their life. I hope people fishing at this ledge have some respect and aware what they are doing. Thanks for the comment
Couldn’t agree more Fred! So over fished and so much rubbish always left behind.
Love the content but no need to drop names of location. This ledge already get enough attraction, over fished
Hahaha you’re right this ledge is always full of people. Although its well known spot, I thought it would be better to show locations as this is vlogging footage! I will keep that in mind in next Vid..! Thanks for the comment!
@@Mulgoni yea I’m a local from the area and the amount of people that travel hours to fish the ledge blows my mind. On Australia Day there was about 50+ people on the ledge and people camping there. I try to avoid the place now. Sydney has such good ledges I’m so confused why people do the drive here
Amazing vid mate!
Thanks mate!!
Thank you
Crazy sunrise and view😂😂😂

Great work on the kingfish mate. I've lost quite a few king the past month in the Harbour, found jigging to be quite effective in the Winter. Would love to tag along for a fish!
Thanks mate hopefully there would be more pelagic action in the harbour during this winter!
Love fishes❤ good to see u😊
