The Queen Mary of Minecraft is a 1:1 build of the RMS Queen Mary, a former transatlantic ocean liner that was owned by the Cunard White Star Line. The Mary sailed from 1936-1967 and was converted into a troop carrier during the Second World War. In one voyage during the war, she carried the most troops in a crossing. The city of Long Beach purchased the Queen for 3.5 million and converted the ship into a hotel. This build of the Mary is of her present state as a hotel. This project also includes a custom resource pack that uses real photos of the interior panels and carpeting as well as exterior portholes and riveted hull plates. This project was started and June of 2017 and will hopefully be completed by early 2024.
