The North Central O Gaugers model railroad club visited Deerfield IL Library. Over 800 library patrons stopped by to enjoy our traveling layout.

Nov 16, 2024 the North Central O Gaugers held a grand opening of the layout at our newest location in Mundelein (173 Archer, near the Metra train station parking lot). This video captures some of the trains that were run during the event.

My wife and I recently moved into a ranch-style house (no basement, no upstairs). My layout went from a full living room that I called "Three Trains No Waiting" to the 4'x6' train table my grandfather made in 1960. Small for O gauge! This is the table. I am running the new Menards Chicago Northwestern engine and related consist. Yes, I am working on expanding the table!
