How to Change 2012 Toyota Tacoma TRD Left Taillight

In this video, I go over changing the left taillight. You need to take out the bottom clear and top orange light and put them into the new taillight. My taillight has a third brake light/topper light connected which takes extra steps.

This video will show you how to put in a single wire topper light, for a Toyota Tacoma TRD 2012
Great video thanks for sharing,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,One thing i have found on my 2012 is an emty 1 quart plastic milk bottle to catch the oil filter over flow works perfect , it rest on a lower hose and a little pressure from the hose holds the bottle against flow hole
Appreciate the time to make the video brother
Thanks Brother!!
Nice
Cool
Thank for the straight forward video! I've never changed my oil before and this was nice and straight to the point. Thanks!!
Thanks much for this tutorial dude. Helped me wire my camper shell brake light to my 2014 TRD Off road Tacoma. However, mine wasn’t the Solid teal wire. That makes the light always on. Instead I wired it to the teal wire with the red stripe and now it functions as a brake light. It only turns on when I press the brake. Everything else worked great! Thanks and hopefully this wiring color tip helps anyone else who wired it wrong like I did the first time haha😅
Does this work for a dome light inside the topper? or does it only give power when pressing on brakes?
That’s pretty good explanation thanks for your video 👍
Why not show you using a wrench to loosen the bolts? It doesn’t pop off by you just fiddling with it. And you also take the negative side first than positive. Reverse order putting new battery in. You said you put positive than negative but you do the opposite putting the battery back in. This video is horrible.
