I just recently used thumbtack this year and I haven’t gotten any leads and one customer in my area was giving off scam likely vibes. This busted can’t be trusted ass customer wanted me to print off their personal western union check and deposit it in my bank. The clerk told me that he’s trying to scam you by doing that I’ve been told him that if you want the junk removal service done then give me cash in cause your giving me scammer vibes making me waste my time with real customers. What should I do to get a refund? This app had put me in the negative with my bank account.

How do you go about pricing? I have a couple 26ft box trucks a company wants me to wash. What would be a good starting price for a once a month job?

Thumbtack is not so bad, at least for me. I set my budget at $150/week . it usually yields minimum $1500/week. High end $5k to 6k. I have got alit of commercial work ppl reaching me thru thumbtack. I service the sf Bay Area tho. A lot of work here . Today I made $1,100.

They suck man. They take your money with bs leads. Someone needs to investigate them.

This is the problem. There are a lot of guys who had a good experience with early Thumbtack. They don’t realize they are promoting a business that has drastically changed for the worse.
