Depends on the day, if I just want to kinda chill and go after objectives and be nigh unstoppable, it's Maras. If I am feeling bloodthirsty I put on WoF or Tarnished Nightmare, or any of about a dozen offensive sets that I have filling up my coffers. I haven't run Cyrodils Ward, but, will try it out.

@@Cool-Daddy-One is there any way to proc the smaller heal of mara’s as arcanist or is the huge cleanse it does enough to make it worth? Considering getting a set upgraded. I only play one bar arc. Thanks dude

I was running 2 Bloodthirsty, 1 Infused, with weapon and spell damage enchants on the jewelry, all divines all magicka enchants on the body.

when I made this it was, but I changed it after this to make the heal magicka instead of stam, this solved a lot of sustain issues that I was having, then I changed it again to have most of my points into health and just enough magicka to have slightly more mag than stam(again to keep the heal mag cost). This made a huge difference, turned it into the only effective 1 bar brawler build that I have tested.

I think I do better with the ranged ability, seems like every time I go melee, I get "ball group" opponents that are always in 6 AOEs and lose half my health just trying to get close. But that is my own salty little way of looking at it and I acknowledge what this actually says is that I would use melee if I were a better player....lol

Tarnished was not available then, running it on my Nightblade and Arcanist now, they have been so much fun I have not put it on my other builds yet. But I will, thanks for the heads up!

This is a hybrid build, stacked for magicka to get wpn/spell damage up, but my jewelry enchants are wpn/spl dmg Stamina regen(the flail is stamina). For PVE I can't really see using something other than the beam(magicka) as your main damage source, but I made this a while ago and Tarnished Nightmare may give favor to a stam build now, but I have not tested it.

Yes, but it is the Arcanist passives and skill line up that makes it happen, you can swap out a bunch of different sets like Deadly, Order's Wrath, Gourmand, Mother's Sorrow, etc etc and get pretty much the same results with minor changes to playstyle.

Yes, Balorg's monster set from March of Sacrifices procs weapon damage and penetration based on amount of ultimate used, in this match I am using Maarselok monster set though.

I had a cool idea for a 1 Bar Defile Bashcanist, if you wanna give it a whirl...haha. 5/1/1. 2pc Jerall / 5pc Deadland Demo / 1 Trainee / 3pc Potentates / Oakensoul. Runeward / Flail / Power Bash / Soul Wield Skill with Stun, Oblivion Dmg, and Major Defile / Runemend and Sanctum Ulty. Should be pretty good!

Take out the vigor and add structured entropy, maybe should have been that way already, I just like having an off main stat heal in case I run out of Mag and still want to be alive.

Master's dual wield Arcanist, no contest, not even close really. Funny thing is, the update 41 nerf will have no effect on my 1 bar Arcanist build. The Arcanist build is so much better, it is hard to gear out other classes to make videos about because all I want to do is run the Arcanist.

uhg, yup, I apparently mixed trimmed videos with raw ones, going to have to do this over. Some of the songs are a bit odd too, guess I mixed those while filing as well. This whole video is 29 gigs, my poor laptop ground almost to a halt in editing, so there was huge delays and jumps while sorting and saving. I will do better next time.

Dark Elf is good for this, it will be tankier, the fire resist will counteract the fire vulnerability of the Vampirism. Vateshran Ice staff, BB skills would add Elemental Suceptability and change defens skills from front bar to back, but leave the impervious runeward on the front bar. Add the beam or uncanny charm to the front.

This is a heavy attack build, many players know how to avoid the lightning staff pop to mitigate your main damage. I found that I have to alter playstyle to use this set up, it is not a front line brawler, and you have to kite and use your teammates as meat shieds a lot. So, if your teammates run and scatter or die really fast, you can get into tough lobbies, and you are going to have a bad time. You also have to use streak to stun heavy attack dodgers, and to get away from melee brawlers. You can also flex out the vigor for haunting curse if you need more damage for the tankier teams. Also, make sure that your target always has a mages wrath in cooldown on them, the heavy attack is too slow to finish off most players, so you should switch to rapid light attacks and mages wrath when their healthbar is low. Order's Wrath is arguably the most versatile of the crafted sets, hard to beat the amount of crit damage and chance it can have, on top of that, it is stackable with other sources, so it is way more interchangeable than sets with a Boon bonus like Treasure Hunter or Medusa. For a One Bar build this is key, since Oakensoul already provides a lot of the Boons those types of sets offer. Light armor sacrifices it's armor value to give better offensive stats, in some cases this is perfectably acceptable. Usually though, passively taking less damage and not having to cast shields and heals as often gives you more up time throwing offensive skills, and more damage done overall. The not dying as often thing is really nice as well.

The ranged damage is addicting, my Nightblade tendencies were starting to show. This build has no where near the survivability of the Arcanist One Bar (not much does), so I was being a bit of a shicken chit, for the most part this kept me out of melee and beetle range. My thoughs here were to keep at range as much as possible, and use the Bone Shield and Subterranean Assault if pressured or if more damage was needed. You are totally correct though, I left a lot of damage on the table by not throwing more beetles into the mix. But hey, I didn't have to edit out any respawn cooldowns, so that's something. I have been addicted to my Arcanist build, but, I promise to bring the Warden back out soon. I rolled up the Warden 1 bar healer, but....well, I figured out I like doing damage a lot more than healing it, but the build worked great. I posted that one.

I set this way to give my magicka bar a break, easy to spam reach yourself out of magicka. I have found that oakensoul builds work best for me with 3 defensive skills and 2 offensive. I am not the most dextrous though, so someone with better play can most definitely flex in another offensive DOT, when I do it, I die a lot. I lose some damage, but a live Warden does infinitely more damage than a dead Warden. Thank you for watching!!!

@Cool-Daddy-One I understand and i would recommend you to use the build, it will help and kill fast like so far I been killing bosses alone but i really want whorl set but is important because is a trial so I might need to get icy conjurer as second set and try out good is it with frostbite. Spam normal bash, get in heavy attacks as much as possible. Try not to just hold block, which is easy to lapse into. The problem is this feels like a PVE tank, so you tend to want to play it like one. Instead, you should be moving a lot, use distance to charge heavy attacks, Guage your stam before you chain in, if you do not have enough, keep kiting and heavy attacking to build up. Definite learning curve with this one.

If PC rebind interrupt to mousewheel or any key „f“ that way you bash without blocking = stam regen goes. Drain stamina poisons on bash bar (other then enchants they’re not cut in half)

Honestly, I wouldn't. This does pretty good in BGs, but in my opinion, it lacks the fortitude to take it into open world PVP. Just one of many in a long line of builds trying to make a One Bar Templar PVP viable since the jab nerf. Actually the most effective way I have found is to turtle up and make it a Jesus Beam in a Can, but that kill stealing playstyle felt icky. I want to be running and gunning and brawling, think I am going to try Briarheart and maybe Deadly or Order's Wrath, or even Mechanical Acuity with stam jabs...stay tuned for more Templar videos, I really miss being able to use the class effectively.
