i saw the musical in lincoln center in ny. in 1963. can’t imagine i am now listening to it again together with my son. whose baby girl is crying btw. can still recall the lyrics. how can there be a baby with no crying…

As a child in the 60's my parents used to listen to Freddie Carles program on the radio. My sister and I were not allowed to interrupt the program at all.

Terrific, I love Mrs Mills, although is when I was young in 1950s and 60s She goes back before I was born. What a talented woman, she plays the piano so exciting almost every tune she does.

1 year old when this came out. Grew up with this,but was Afrikaans. Whent to Rhodesia at 16 and learn English, now I understand the words and appreciate more.

Every time I see Mrs Mills I can’t help smiling. I’m far too young at 57 to remember her at her height but I remember the several times she was on Morecambe and Wise and was always prepared for a laugh, a sketch and some music along the way.
