The jar itself is beautiful but that top doesn’t “go” with the wood of the jar. Ruins the look of the nice jar.

The wood is beautiful. I wished you would have made large bowl or something else. Looks like a lot of the wood was wasted. I've watch a lot of wood turning and this was a lot different especially chipping and cutting the top off and then drilling a hole in the top .I've never seen that done. However the wood is very beautiful.

What an absolute waste of a once in a lifetime piece of rosewood. They should have found a larger lathe and turned most of the original in one piece. Maybe as the base for a stand lamp or some such device. As it was, more of the piece was left on the floor by the chain saw, which needed sharpening badly, and sawdust turnings from what was left. If they were intended to be a pair of whatever, I suspect table lamp bases, why not turn them together to achieve a pair of similar sizes before seperating them into two similar but unequal pieces.

That is some of the most beautiful wood I've seen in watching several wood turners weekly for a few years. Your vessel compliments the wood

I just started doing epoxy projects nothing on this scale however. So just a question for anyone that might know. Would mold release agent make it easier to get the part out of its mold?

You are risking losing your thumb! That thumb sticking out does absolutely nothing to help your turning! Additionally, wearing gloves as well puts your entire hand at risk! I’m finding it very difficult to continue watching your channel!!!

I like the wood, the size, and the shape, but am not a fan of the completed project. For this to be a proper piece, it should be hollowed to completion, and don't even get me started on how the bottom was treated.
