It's a really lovely Bible! I've not broken it in yet as I am being consistent in other Bibles at the moment. I'm also choosing to keep some Bibles clean in case I get lead to give them away some day. Awesome, for a smooth rubbery faux leather texture, my understanding is that you might want to go with a degreaser or rubbing alcohol first to get rid of any slick coatings. If it's textured already then you could be ok with just a wet wipe. Then for priming, something like Acrylic Gesso or a plastic primer would be good. For the main paint, either flexible acrylic paint or leather paint (allowing each thin layer to dry) and then a flexible acrylic or leather sealer. But before going straight in, I would definitely do a patch test to see how it takes. Best of luck and let me know how you get on!
