Why the 2024 GMC Sierra is My Favorite Full-Size Pickup Truck
Переглядів 9584 місяці тому
The 2024 GMC Sierra isn't the top-selling truck in America (that's the Ford F-150), it's not the one getting all the attention right now (that's the Tesla Cybertruck), and it's not the most powerful truck (that's the Ram 1500 TRX). But it's my favorite full-size pickup on the market today. I'll explain why it's my top pick, show you its cool features, and take you for a drive in this top tier p...

Vision Quest Auto Ford Bronco Sport Long Term Review
$47,000 wow
Does it have the 7,500$ rebate?
The only thing that prevents me from buying one is that some are rattle traps. My own car rattles in one spot nobody can fix it drives me crazy
Nope. Gen 1 2 3 or bust
Can't argue with them but this is really good!
Meridian is the worst sound system Including 3D surround is the worst Best is Bose
Meridian has made a massive improvement. I would agree with you before but I was surprised how nice this sounded. Best is McIntosh in Jeep!
Nice review💯
The nx and rx are much worse in the segment
Agree with you on the RX. Curious what you have above the NX? I feel like long-term value with the NX (ie reliability) is really high.
If the stereo system is a Mark Levinson system, the only way to know that is to look around near the controls of the radio that will say it. it doesn’t say it anywhere on the speakers
Really? I've usually seen that branded on the speakers. Really nice sound though!
It is a press and walk away lock .
I drove both versions at a launch event. Response is solid on both though obviously better on the turbo. Didn't think the engine footage I shot was of interest to my audience. I could add if I think there's enough interest. Thanks for the feedback!
Im geting the ST Elite line in red with the B @ O system
My 2015 transmission died at 168,000 miles.
Not once did you pop the hood or mention if this was the turbo or normal Mazda 3. It wasn't till the end when you finally moved enough for me to see the "turbo" badge that I knew for sure. That's why you were impressed with the power😂
Most boring suv. If Its so great, why is ford discontinuing it next uear 🤔
The boring factor was why I was surprised it was solid. Never said it was great and said it struggles to make a case against entrenched leaders like the RAV4 and CR-V. It's solid. Nothing more. Nothing less. Sometimes that's all you need. Thanks for watching.
Looks good!! I hope the 2025 highlander XSE has no 2 tone like this, I prefer all black or all red. 😮
Love it
Glad to hear it!
Terrible editing. Every 3 sentences is a new segment. Bunch of small clips cut and pasted to form a long video. Trash! And who parks the car on the grass for a video review? Lame watched 2 minutes and say F this guy
😊
The v6 hasn’t been around since 2017 😂
Yeah I was saying the first new generation to not have a V6 at all. Came out wrong lol.
You have a nice family
Thanks so much!
Nice family video. This is the car that I want; this is the car I will get.
Appreciate it! It's a great car!
If I hadn’t just leased a car this year I would look at this in Avenir trim! Maybe next time after a couple model years to work out the kinks.
It's a good first effort but never a bad idea to wait a few years into a model's run to purchase!
Only Front WHeel Drive SUV?!?
Yeah that could be added in the future. It is a miss if you're in a region with snow.
Got mine 2 1/2 years ago, base model. Ford made me a better deal. Around town I get 28 mph, back plenty of room for my bicycles/ outdoor gear ( folding the seats down sold ) I couldn't afford much more. Mine has the turbo 3 cylinder plenty of power. In owning 20 cars etc. My only complaint is the turbo lag otherwise for under 25 k it's perfect, nothing fancy but the job done very well. I know ones like mine are around 30k.
That's a great price! It's a really solid SUV that really gets the job done.
@@VisionQuestAuto nothing fancy but works very nice 👍.
Great review. Test drove the X and liked it even without the stalks.
It's really well thought out. It took me a bit to get used to that but once you do it's pretty easy.
Thanks for posting. Have a MY with stalks and a new MX (no stalks) with FSD. Initially not a fan of no stalks. However I have been using FSD a lot and no stalks in this situation makes way more sense. MX is a really great vehicle.
That's really interesting! I definitely got more used to no stalks the more I drove it. In fact, I got the Maverick as a test car right afterwards and was initially trying to find the button turn signals haha. Really love the X.
Not much more room than the model Y, and less maintance in the model Y.
The third row offers a lot more room the the Y's which aren't really useful. There's the option for captain chairs in the second row too. Two row to two row they compare well though. The Falcon Wing door repair costs out of warranty are a definite concern. They're also really useful but also can be a pain in garages etc. Model Y is great though. I'm planning on reviewing the Juniper one it's announced for the U.S. I think that's a real game changer.
What color is this car ?
It is called Zadar grey. Sort of bluish grey.
can't hear you
The intro? I removed the wind and increased the volume but it didn't carry over on UA-cam. The rest of the video volume did carry over. I'll reach out to UA-cam for input. Thanks for the feedback.
@@VisionQuestAuto I think you just need the mic closer to your mouth. I always see guys holding the mic when they are outside like you were
Beautiful I love it, I bought the same one in black, I also get a lot of complements about it🩷
That's awesome.
I hate the no timing chain. Maintaining this will be expensive in the long run
That's a fair point. Replacing the belt every 40,000 miles is a bit of a turnoff.
@VisionQuestAuto Why do you say 40,000 miles? Manufacturer's recommendation is 150,000 miles.
@@pebble4713 I believe Buick's timing belt is 40k-60k recommendation based on the model.
@VisionQuestAuto I'm gonna guess you didn't read page 259 of the Owner's Manual, which states to replace the timing belt at 150,000 miles or 15 years, whichever comes first.
Thanks for the clarification. I saw a GM maintenance schedule that differed.
Such a good family car
🔥
Nice man. Dope video.
👀 btw the fact that you choose what song you have for a car is dope! Differentiates yourself.
Thanks! Try to keep things fun.
Nice hyundai
Do you hear the booming sound inside like some are complaining about ( I guess it sounds like a window is opened?) or the clicking sound from. the front end when turning like others have noted?
I didn't hear any unwanted noises while driving. I had it during rain, snow and wind and it was extremely quiet. I had the 20" wheels if that makes a difference.
Thanks, Frank. This review was helpful to me.
First!!! I have a 2023 BS just like yours, Big Bend, gray, 3 cyl. I’m off road with it almost every day visiting construction sites in the mountains of the Southeast. Off road it’s great. What I don’t like is the tiny back seat and the poor view out the back.
Nice! Yeah the back seat needs a few more inches. Headroom is great though. Good to know the 3 cylinder is good off roading.
