Nice man, glad to see you’re back at it!
Thanks man! Hopefully more to come!
Nice video! I had a blast hanging out with you and your family this weekend can’t wait to see ya next event
We had a great time with y’all too! Looking forward to more shreds with you!
Love seeing that you're getting back into the sport and passing down knowledge to the future generation. #driftstang
Don’t you love the oil filter placement 😂😂😂
Looks like I’m going to invest in an oil filter relocation kit 😂
Um, so you're a new rider?
@@matthewsaxe6383 nope. Been riding 2013. I was tired from work. Brain wasn’t at full operating potential.
Stay away from crowds!!! I'm sure the ol girl is hungry and hasn't eaten in a bit. Great video homie! Can't wait to see you back out on the track again after being away for so long.
Thanks brother! She’s a hungry old bat. About 15 miles and 1 crowd per gallon
Not a "MAJOR" issue! If you ride, you are going to experience flat tires. LEARN to use a tire plug kit. Be thankful that the KPM200 has TUBELESS tires! Otherwise, you would need to remove the wheel, remove the tire, patch or replace the tube. In fact, if you carried a plug kit and small pump, you could have fixed the flat on the side of the road in less time than it took to record this video!
You may be right but this bike is long sold. I keep a plug kit in all of my vehicles now though
Ty for sharing,no one in the videos I've watched mentioned that
I bought a Lifan xpect after seeing one in person, it's my 3rd street legal bike and it really makes me question why tf I was ever going to dealerships just to be completely screwed over price and maintenance wise. My Lifan is comparable in quality to a 2000-2010 Honda motorcycle, but with fuel injection, a better dash, a better seat, more features all around, better suspension, etc. Ride quality is the same as most honda's or straight up better than the super low end hondas like the navi or XR150L. If Honda built the bike they'd charge at least 6K for it. Lifan has me sold. Easier to find parts for this than a 20 year old bike as well.
Love your mods, very very similar to what I'm looking to do with mine. I like the tail tidy you hooked up and those blinkers are great. I also plan on cutting the tail off and shorten the seat. Gonna take a look at the electronics under the covers too and see if I can eliminate the panel or maybe just wrap it. I got some OD Camo vinyl that I plan to use for it. I'm not wanting to do an Enduro but I plan on replacing the tires with some dual sport tires. Thanks for the video
😂😂

I'd love to hear the exhaust when its not in the garage. Sounds awesome.
I completely feel this. As an aspiring new rider (in my 50s) I wanted to start low and slow for my first bike and started looking at the Lifan KPM because I like the cafe/standard/old school style. However, for the same price ($3500) I can get a used Honda 300 CB with reasonable miles and for $4000 I can get a Royal Enfield Hunter 350 or a used Rebel 300.
You're supposed to carry a plug kit in your motorcycle so you can easily plug a puncture hole.
Yikes, cool but not for me. I’m forgetful.
The pipe is sooo much better. It was the weak point
I agree. Doing the exhaust and the snorkel delete freed up a lot of power. Prior to that it struggled to hold 65 uphill. After I could actually accelerate going uphill.
@@rydazim I didn’t do the delete. I guess I got to wait till your next video to show me how. Hint hint
@@buck9739 I guess you haven’t seen my more recent videos. Unfortunately I sold that bike almost a year ago. It’s really easy to do though. Just take the seat off and you have access to the intake. The snorkel pops right off.
@@rydazim thanks I will look it up. Your all right keep it up.
Where is she ?
What you let it go for (price)?
I’m thinking of doing the same
@@jwill7080 I sold it for 2500
where did you find the part?
If I was young again I would choose the Ninja 400. My bike was the Kawasaki H1 Triple. The famous 'Widow Maker'
I got rid of my KPM 200 and got a Harley Davidson Nightster. I love it. Maybe look into a nightster or a sportster s
Maybe in time I’ll get a Harley. For now the VStar will work for me.
Where you buy the muffler bro?
I got it from eBay, but it’s not there anymore. If you look up honda monkey go exhaust you’ll find it.
You don't have to replace the tire put a plug in it... It's not the front tire.. you didn't notice the backend walking around...
Thank you, Rydazim! Nice review of the bike. I have been looking at the KPM 200 for awhile now. Love the exhaust setuo on yours. May I ask, six months out since your post, how has the bike been working out for you? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks again!
I recently order this bike from Orion Powersports online. When it arrived it was immediately giving a check engine light flash indicator related to the oxygen sensor. The battle that I'm having now is getting parts to do the repair myself. The downside is the distributor will only send parts to an authorized dealer, and the closes one to me is 98 miles. It's a fun bike to ride, but if parts start going bad, you may find yourself between a rock and a hard play like me.
Actually I sold the bike a couple months ago. As far as parts go, I didn’t have any issues getting parts through Xpro on Amazon.
@@rydazim What made you sell the bike? Did you outgrow it or was it just time to move on?

Thanks for sharing 👍🏼
I’ve become quite disillusion with motorcycle dealerships. I went to buy a bike a couple of times actually a scooter is really all I want it I’ve got two other litre motorcycles I just wanted something to Putz around town fun stuff. The extra add-on cost the BS knowing that they’re screwing you and then I bought motorcycles from them before just infuriated me. I think you’ll be happy with your purchase drop your oil out a couple of times while it’s new if you can find a magnetic drain plug put one in if not just put a super magnet you can order a whole package of them off Amazon for a few bucks put that on your drain plug I don’t know if it has an oil filter but I always put one on my oil filter as well. Use a good synthetic don’t beat the hell out of it and keep your chain clean and lubed You’ll get a hell of a lot of miles out of it. I’ve travelled and lived all over the world and you rarely see motorcycles over 250 cc and you will see two adults two children and possibly a goat strapped on. Good luck nice review wear a helmet!
After putting 1000 miles on mine, I upgraded to a Kawasaki W800. Now I have to figure out what I’m going to do with the KPM200
I'm getting to that point.
@@rydazim I’m not sure if you have experience riding larger displacement motorcycles, but believe me when I say it’s far more enjoyable. To be honest, the build quality on these bikes is not very good, but you don’t realize how shoddy the construction is until you ride a brand named motorcycle.
I had a Honda Shadow 750 a few years ago. This is actually better than that was. But technology has changed a lot since then.
Very interesting bro. Let us know later for sure....... Thanks a lot.
Is the cluster color purple or can you change color? I'm really torn between this or a royal enfield classic.
It's blue. Can't change it
If they don't have Y connectors you can splice another wire onto the low beam and connect it and the high on the back of the switch so both are connected to the high terminals. So long as the switch amp rating can handle both LED's amp ratings. If not upgrade switch to one with more metal inside to conduct the higher amp load.
I had a baffle in my aftermarket exhaust and found out that with the restriction the fuel injection was flooding and overflowing. I removed the baffle and it fixed the leaking. Just a heads up.
The stock mirrors are garbage they come loose no matter how tight you get them. I did the full exhaust and I did use the DB killer. With out it the bike is obnoxiously loud and it embarrassing when you can only do 65.
What's the DB killer because my bike is ridiculously loud.
@@rydazim I can send you a pic if you want. But basically it slips into the rear of the exhaust and the pipe. It looks like a tube will holes drilled in it. I will look up the part number for you I got it on ebay for 15 bucks.
@@1sinister80 thanks bruv

Hi Rydazim, how are you? Thanks for your videos. I bought this motor bike as well 1 week ago and enjoying so far. Noticed when I drive at > 40 mph speed, there is some burining smell coming from front tire, looks like brake pads are almost touching the disk brake, did you face that? any idea how to fix that, my suspicion is tires are not freely rotating
I bought this bike. It is great. At a gas station, another MC rider saw it. Wanted to know where I bought it, he wanted one too.
Bro just subcribed and nice upgrades. Putting in my order today. Can you send me a list of your upgrades please. I was torn between another bike and this one and I now will be ordering it because of your mode video. Any help would be appreciated tremendously. Thanks again in advance bro.
Thanks man! Parts: Drag bars from Amazon Bar end mirrors Turn signals Header (thecheapestride UA-cam channel) Honda Monkey GP muffler The links are in the description of my videos
I had the front tire go flat on my KPM after it looks like I ran over a nail, and thankfully a local ebike/scooter shop was able to plug the flat. The only other major issue I have had is that if you live in a place that gets really cold winters, you better keep your bike stored indoors, because otherwise the battery just doesn't have enough cold crank amps.
Sweet man appreciate the videos! I’m blacking mine out completely today should turn out ok but have you thought about taking the straps off yours?
I've definitely thought about it. I just need to get slightly shorter hardware to replace the longer bolts. I'd love to see your bike bro
Wait, the stock tires are tubeless, so you changed them at some point? Why aren't more tires tubeless...
The first thing I did when I bought my KPM200 was replace the tires with Bridgestone battlax tires. I wasn’t going to trust those Chinese no name tires in the Arizona heat.
Did you just use brackets for the license plate mount?
I used a universal mount and some zip ties
How much does it cost you to register this bike at DMV? in your state?
In North Carolina it cost me about 200 with taxes.
@@rydazim thank you for response 😃 and is registration every year ?
@@rickydua7585 yes yearly. It won't be that much everytime because I won't be paying taxes on it.
@@rydazim thanks for the info on the registration cost. I’m in NC as well, looking into getting a street bike myself.
How well does the headlight illuminate the rod at night?
Decently well. The high beam is focused more directly ahead, but it's still diffused to the sides ok. It has a passing light button that illumates both the high beam and low beam at the same time. That gives the absolute best visibility. I'd like to rewire the controls to have both lights come on at the same time.
Had mine almost a month with over 900 miles so far and love it! If you rode it over 20 miles with a flat tire, the thing's even more of a beast than I thought!
I'm really happy with it so far. Mine has about 800 miles on it now and I'm looking forward to putting a lot more on it.
