Little rocky hill climb - about a 7-10% grade, some 4” ledges, loose rocks and large baby heads. Definitely down stop cuz might be hard to restart without going down again. Not scary because of the grade but the ledges and rocks are like tiptoeing through a mine field.

These are the twists and turns and hills. Some passes falls and stalls.
TORCS Coles - Hard Line 9-7-24

Some shots of the Hard Line. I didn’t do it. It was a harder line until riders wore down the lip. I was beginning to think I might’ve made it. Good think my brain told me “no”.

Main route was pretty easy. Country was great. Baby heads made it interesting. Lot of fun.

Our side yard looked terrible. Nothing would grow under the oak.
AZBDR Sec 2 N to S
Переглядів 174 місяці тому
Did sec 2 north to south. This is a stretch of dirt that joins the RR tracks at right. Bit of sand gets the heart pumping - DR does a half donut. Bit of rough trail I DIDN’T RECORD! All in all, pretty nice ride.
AZBDR Sec1 The Rocks

This is the section in the original BDR video put together by the website where they talked about deep sand. We didn't encounter any sand. But the rocks were a, well be sure you have traction control off. Nothing worse than the engine fighting with you all the way up..

A new course for the TORCS circuit. Course had some significant deep sand sections, handlebar knockers and a short MX style section.

Where is this ?
@@rivaled blue ridge road and top of the world road north out of Terlinga TX. Try onXoff road or Gaia gps apps
Hi everybody, i have a 1200 gs 2015, it has the same noise, but now i have the yellow triangle and the engine symbols , the bike sometime runs bad, it seems like lost power and runs slow, but i turned off and back bormal ? Somebody has the same problem?
Lol...the rock gardens are in Section 4.
@@bennyfisher4415 We expected sand in 1. No sand. The rocks were a surprise. The volcanic sand in 5 was down played in the official video. Burnt my clutch out there. I skipped rocky part of 4.
@@rocks4brains The only sand we ran into last May was in section 2. And it wasn't much or that bad. You did miss out on all of the rocks in section 4 though. Miles & miles of it. 🤣
This sure is recorded low.
those stutters arent to warm up the engine faster. they exist solely to block air and have the car more aerodynamic. its to save gas.
Apparently it affects the air conditioning
@@12Mojo when the AC is on they are supposed to open and stay open anyway. so it shoudnt affect it. on a side note, i deactivated mine so they stay open all the time and my gas millage actually done down from 6.2l/100km to 6.0l/100km. my engine is now cool like a cucumber.
Did u have a fault code on this?
Only code was the temp gauge.
Damn that a lot of work just to pull the starter. On my 2012 StreetGlide, I can remove the Starter in 15 minutes. I also have a 2000 WideGlide and it's much easier to remove the Starter. That Softail Oil Tank is a PITA.
Stupid video is this supposed to informative or entertainment ?
I came up on him as he got up and went to report the man down on Bluebonnet lane, to get medical response. Glad he’s okay and quick response by sweeps and med team. I knew someone else would stop, thanks Jeremy.
You could have told me Alex was right behind me! 😂2:02-2:04
I preferred the right line over the roots because it was a straight line.
Always sad to see.
Download the music to the memory card inside the navigator ?
Been many years since I was out there, thanks for the memories
Really? 😂😂 That was all Jose’s fault. 😂
I'm glad you didn't catch this women A rider going through that crapola... lol (Kirby Bailey)
That easy line wasn’t exactly “easy”
WTF are you clowns doing?
Nice video
That looks like a really great spot!! Where is it?
Way over in central LA on a guy I know’s land.
Looks amazing John!! Where is it?
Leave tire on
Can't hear you
You're lost ?
No, we were on the route. Saw no remnant of the bridge having been there though.
You didn’t seem to have any trouble with that root that everyone was stuck on
Same issue on my GS RALLYE 2019… what was your issue ?
Turns out it’s not an issue at all just the sound the fly-by-wire actuators make when energized.
We got caught in something similar out of Weed. Those rocks are slick as snot. By the time we where out of the rain there wasn't a road but a nice flow of water lol
Just taking off the tire took you more than 7 minutes with two people.
Forgot to remove the drive belt.
Great video John. That was a fun day!
I sure wish someone would buy me an adventure bike so I could go with you guys. LOL Just kidding, I don't have time......yet!
Just need a small dual sport. I was on a Honda 300L. Another, on a DRZ 400.
@@rocks4brains technically my 300rr is street legal. But at 65 it would both not be comfortable, and probably look like I was pulling a tire fire behind me for the first few miles. 😂
I like the format!
What kind of flex light/camera did you use? Great video. In the process of doing my Softail Thanks
Just stuck my phone there.
I think it's better just to remove them
That's the most worthless video I've ever watched
What class are you riding? Also do you ever get to Hidden Falls to ride?
Nice job, looks good
That sucks man. Not fun getting one in the nuts.
✊✊✊
Looks awesome!!
I have just noticed that same sound on my 2021 R1250RS, it is coming only from the right side. Should it be worth taking it to the mechanic? Edit: After posting my comment I was able to read the comments (they weren’t loading before) and it makes more sense now. It seems that I missed a day riding for no good reason.
Did you happen to video the Open C start on Saturday?
Sorry, no
it would be much less work to disconect the power wire to the motor. From what I read it will not turn on a light. Takeing out the fuse would turn quite a few things off. I am going to look at disconnecting the connector or the power wire to the motor.
I think I am going to make shure they are open and either pull the fuse or unplug the motor.
Just pull out all the louvers. It all plastic and snap in.
Thanks Rocks, my nav vi decided to make my route a bit quicker...so I saw the comment about adding more waypoints in basecamp. Hopeful this will keep me on the route next trip. Great vid
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO 😘😘
They don't just clogg up so best to find the problem are you will destroy another cat
Heat gun will tell you, should be near 100 degrees hotter at rear end of cats if there working
Wish I could get those rear crash bars for my 2001 FLSTF but the right hand one won't fit the stnd ex pipes.
