What do you do if the spool is loaded with line . How do you get the old clip out ?

Defenitely not as easy as this video shows. Removing the cap from the dragknob is almost impossibble without damaging/bending it. I finally managed to do it with a small flat screw driver though. But you really gotta give it some effort and force to achieve the removal of it. The quick drag is so much better than the original felt washers which where installed though.
Where did you get the circle line clips
Just ordered more for my spare spools these work really well. Get rid of the tension delay issue and and speed them up.

It honestly boggles my mind that Shimano couldn't figure this out themselves. Nothing on a high end beach reel should stop working because a grain of sand gets in there. Very disappointing I'm extremely grateful for this upgrade as probably would have taken them back for a refund otherwise

Hi I recently purchased this from you but having trouble taking the cap off with a screw driver. Should it just pop off. Really struggling

You basically have to absolute fuck the silver plate up with a small screwdriver run around the entire circumference of the cap and wiggle, prise and jam it open as hard as possible. Not easy and has taken me nearly half an hour to achieve. The cap looks like it has been chewed by a Rottweiler now but it does actually work in the end although I doubt it should be as difficult as it was.

I find the drag on the power aero’s is too fast. 1/4 of a turn from locked up to free spool. Does this mod increase the range of the drag? I’m aware mods like this usually make the drag range shorter.
im after that information myself did you resolve it ? The drag is brutal if you are fishing for big fish with braided manline, i need to slow mine down also. from what ive found out the felt washers will slow it down and apparently you dont have to change them all , you can replace one one at a time until you get the desired result. i still havent found where to buy the correct ones so any info shared would be great
